喜欢 Lovey site, beautiful view. Loo & shower block is lovely. Nice to have tearoom on site even though we didn’t use it.

不喜欢 Washing up facility was basic to say the least, two sinks great- but no flat surface to put things on and hot water was a dribble !!
Unfortunately there was no gas for hot showers in the morning, we notified owners who replied promptly and someone came to look but had no spare gas bottle!!
Understandably gas runs out but you should have a full bottle ready, replacement bottle was too late for us we wanted to get off on our way. Just unfortunate on this occasion maybe.

喜欢 Everything about the site was lovely it was clean spacious all amenities where up to good standards and the tearoom does a beautiful breakfast staff where friendly it was our first time camping and it made it so relaxed

喜欢 Brilliant clean campsite what has 2 fields we had 6 out of the 7 pitches booked for our group. Amazing view from our camper. Only 5 minutes walk to the beach. Food in the cafe was so nice and staff were friendly and very helpful. Will be staying here again.

不喜欢 Only the poor weather, can only blame Mother Nature for that. And the very noisy traffic especially HGVs on the A77

We're especially delighted to hear that The Balkenna Tea Room "does meals to die for"! Our team works hard to offer delicious food and a wonderful experience.

We completely agree with you about the weather; Mother Nature can be unpredictable! Regarding the traffic noise, we understand that our location directly off the A77 can sometimes mean hearing HGVs, particularly for pitches closer to the road. However, we want to remind guests that our larger camping field is set further back from the roadside, with our car park acting as a buffer, offering a much quieter and more peaceful experience.

Despite the weather and traffic, we hope you still enjoyed our stunning views (visible from everywhere on site) and the short walk to our beautiful beach.

We truly hope to welcome you back to Balkenna Tearooms and Caravan Park again soon for another enjoyable stay!

喜欢 The pitches were full of lovely people and grounds maintained well, toilet and shower facilities were clean and fresh. Tearoom staff were great and fruit scone was delish!!!

不喜欢 We didn't stay longer!

喜欢 Lovely park great views staff lovely tea room.was spotless food was lovely local produce busy at peak times.Facities basic but clean. Would go back and recommend.

不喜欢 Very busy loud road. No.access to beach at all. Bit rural definitely not for a long stay.

To get access to the beach , you have to cross the road and the gate to the beach is about 150 yards away .

喜欢 Great location, views were amazing. Plenty space for tents and motor bikes. Good clean shower and toilet block. Tea room open fro. 0830 for breakfast, what's not to like.
