Good pitches with a good site facilities. Would return again.

喜欢 The facilities and the restaurant and bar.
不喜欢 Found one of the shower blocks with the toilets very dirty. Tryed to get an afternoon shower in the said block and no hot water. Found that the toilets in there wouldn't flush enough, so leaving the toilet looking like it hadn't been flushed.

喜欢 Polite and friendly staff, good size pitch, plenty to do on site even though we didn't get time to use any of them. Would come back but only out of season as it was still busy on our visit and feel it would be a really busy site at peak summer
不喜欢 Main toilet block is getting tired and really needs a revamp, poor lighting in the toilets. They were kept clean but they are tired and old. Showers also need to be replaced, clean but heads are no longer working well

Good base to Bournemouth Poole etc
The site itself is clean
The touring book in closed at 3 so had to go back to main reception ( which then in turn shut early )
不喜欢 Main toilet shower block is disgusting .
Only 2 dull lights in the toilets .
Found a second toilet shower block that was brand new but the shower went off every 1-2 minutes so had to shower and push the tap on all the time so showered with one hand .
Went the week after the school holidays,ice cream place shut ,fish and chip shop open sporadically ( so had to go out and get fish and chips .
Boat house is just microwave meals .

喜欢 Bar staff lady was friendly and polite. The booking staff were polite
The site could be lovely. Great offering large pitches option.
不喜欢 Toilets were not flushing most days. Showers need a jet wash to get rid of build up of grot. Staff have been told to give a standard line that they are short staffed. Yet staff in booking office all lying on benches doing nothing. Even though weather warnings were issued no prep was done so site flooded. No obvious security presence to deal with the assault happening. Life guards allowing children to behave dangerously in swimming pool. We don’t have a dog but had to clear up dog poo twice do our kids didn’t step in it. Dog poo in the toilet . The rules that are given are not being adhered to. Lots of work vehicles on site towing caravans? How can this be managed when the touring office is closed. Surely security presence is needed around the touring area?
