Set on a working alpaca farm in the Dorset countryside, Snooks Farm Alpacas is a splendid spot for the whole family, just three miles from Ferndown and two minutes' walk away from the River Stour. The free-range sheep and roaming goats should keep the kids entertained for hours – and there are also free-range duck and chicken eggs for sale here too. There are plenty of nearby attractions for a week of adventure. You can spend the day exploring the seaside resort of Bournemouth or take in the spectacular views of the New Forest; both within 20 minutes' drive. A skiing and snowboarding activity centre is only 10 minutes away, and Bournemouth airport is close by too (making this a handy pre-flight stay or base for the popular airshow). For food and drinks, the shops and pubs of West Parley are a five-minute walk away and barbecues are permitted on site. Dogs are not allowed on site.

喜欢 Not much curb appeal but the alpacas more than made up for it.
Basic facilities as advertised so that was fine for us . Friendly welcome.

不喜欢 The permanent set up of the caravans with massive solar panels was a bit off putting as it was the first thing you saw on arrival. As well as the massive blue trailer and burned out van left in the field. I know you are a working farm and that didn’t bother us but the camping field could look a lot better as the pictures are misleading and show an idillic field without all the permanent s.

喜欢 Lovely site with plenty of space to pitch up your motorhome.
Great to see the Alpacas, goats etc up close and being able to pet them was amazing. Watching them walk freely around the site in the evening sun is a great memory to take away with us to.
The hosts are very friendly and welcoming and we will hopefully return when next in the area.

喜欢 All the animals that roamed around, certainly lovely waking up to see them.
Plus I loved the planes going over too, they were not too much to cause a problem.
Also pubs and shops in about a 15 minutes walk away
Plenty of room for your campervan and tent
Friendly staff

不喜欢 Toilets a little bit grotty
And nowhere to put rubbish, you had to take it home, but ours was full of Ants

喜欢 We had a lovely chilled stay, loved the animals especially the Llamas & ponies enjoyed watching them, really chilled, lovely walk down the river, lunch at Curlew & grabbed some supplies at Lidl & bonus the ice cream van turned up both days

喜欢 Peaceful atmosphere, being around lots of beautiful animals, lovely warm welcome, having plenty of space to camp, being visited by llamas and alpacas at the pitch, sight of the occasional plane in the sky approaching Bournemouth Airport, low light pollution and a great view of the night sky, lovely pub 15 minutes walk away. A beautifully rustic site with a lovely vibe - we will definitely be back.

喜欢 It's a wonderful little camp site. Lots of funny animals, plenty of water and clean toilets.

不喜欢 Showers would have been nice, but we managed fine in our van. Also I wish it was closer to the beach - it was about 25 minutes drive.
