What customers say
A chill farm stay, a hit for its critters, especially alpacas. Punters love the laid-back vibe, flat spots, and being near shops. Basic loos provided, but BYO loo roll & towels. Near the airport, so planes fly over (some think it’s grouse!). A few bits could do with a spruce, but hosts are legends & it’s a ripper time.

The lamas roamed around the field with the campers, this was amazing!
Unpowered grass motorhome site
Liked The animals and relaxed vibe.
Disliked There are no showers and the water hose is right beside where the animals drink so could be cross contaminated.

From the manager: Thankyou for your review but it is stated NO showers on Pitchup.com when you book.
There are 3 water points in the field each tap has a quick connector that can be removed for you to fill bottles etc. No chance of contamination

Quirky site for a fun stay.

Liked Friendly owners who greeted us. A quiet site (but we were out of season). Easy to walk to The Curlew - an excellent pub. Interesting animals! We loved watching the emus! Two toilets, with sinks.
Disliked We had a van with a sink but if you came without this, be aware there are no washing up or shower facilities at the moment.

Clean facilities, friendly staff and level pitches
Unpowered grass motorhome site
Liked Flat field, park where you like - no marked pitches. 2 unisex toilets were basic but clean and with soap - bring your own paper and towel and a torch for night use to avoid llama poo :)
Lovely walk alongside the river - access is via a gate at the end of Church Lane by the pretty church.
Fresh water tap in the field along the fence.
Disliked Nothing much, the entrance could be better highlighted - I drove past it the first time.

Liked We like how welcoming the owners were we had a lovely chat to them when we brought our honey.
We enjoyed having a wonder around the animals, Ernie the Emu made us chuckle, along with the young alphas they were great to watch.
Toilet were clean, site was quite not overly busy.
Planes went over as expected but didnt bother us in the slightest.
