喜欢 The layout of the site and the setup for barbecue and outside seating. The hut was high quality and very comfortable. Added this to my favourites for future bookings and a longer stay.

Lovely, quiet, small campsite in a nice remote, wooded location!

喜欢 Lovely location, peaceful and quiet. Nice, powerful, warm showers, clean toilets, good washing up area for dishes. I believe there is a fridge-freezer and washing machine, but we only did one night so didn't fully take the site in. Going at the start of autumn gave us a very picturesque Sunday morning!
不喜欢 The lack of light pollution is lovely and refreshing, but, some dim lighting to guide us down the uneven path from the toilet block at night would help. BUT, bringing a torch or a phone is the obvious solution. So, not exactly a dislike!

喜欢 Beautiful place to camp, we were next to the stream. It was great fun going over the stepping stones.
The campsite had a lovely relaxed feeling, with good facilities.
There is some lovely walks and a brilliant family run, pub with great food.

Highly recommend this site if you want a quite peaceful stay.

Clean showers and toilets
Utility room with lockers for phone charging, laundry and washing up facilities.
I stayed in one of the shepards huts which was a very good standard, kitchen unit was well stocked with pots pans utensils etc.
Very comfortable beds and a log burner.
Each hut also has an outside area with firepit/bbq.
Camping pitches also looked good with individual fire pits on each pitch.
I had absolutely no phone/data signal but that didn't effect me as I wanted a trip away from rat race but you may want to download some entertainment if you require it.

喜欢 Everything about it was perfect. Peaceful site and felt off grid. Shepherd hut itself had everything you needed. The showers were hot and the unit kept clean. We will definitely be back hopefully for longer next time with grandchildren and their families.
