For somewhere to stop while wending your way westwards to the end of Cornwall, try Fox Farm Motorhome Park, a well-maintained, intimate site set in the grounds of a small farm a mile and a half from Penzance town centre. It won't take you long to get out and see the local wildlife here – this site is located on the edge of an area of outstanding natural beauty on the sparsely populated Penwith Peninsula. This Cornish spot has a very small number of secluded pitches, all of which are spacious and level. Amenities at this low-key spot include practical features like a water supply via a spring borehole, recycling points and chemical disposal facilities. There's also a small on-site farm shop where you can pick up fresh local fruit and vegetables. Well-behaved dogs are welcome but please keep them on leads, as this is a working farm. Open barbecues are allowed too, but the owners would appreciate it if quiet hours could be respected after 10pm. This site feels peaceful and out of the way but is easily accessible from the main road, which can get you down into Penzance with roughly a five-minute drive. There are several beaches here (including a fair number of dog-friendly options), as well as a railway station, bars, restaurants and supermarkets.

Needs some finishing touches which the owners working on. Lovely showers and waters supplied from his own well
This is a working farm
Nice location I would recomend if you looking for relaxation away from the hustle of day to day stresses

喜欢 Loved the private and quiet pitches with plenty of space and foliage. Friendly, chatty and helpful site owner.
Ideal location for surrounding tourist spots.
Clean and well maintained facilities.

不喜欢 Lack of pot wash area but that was in the process of being constructed while we were there.

喜欢 Endroit calme et équipé des services comme annoncé. Accueil sympathique. Sanitaires propres et spacieux.

不喜欢 Les photos montrent sans doute l’endroit au début. Les emplacements sont bien équipés mais peu entretenus. Il faut savoir que l’accès en camping car n’est pas aisé dans le village avant d’arriver à la ferme : routes parfois fort étroites en Cornouailles pour des véhicules lourds.

喜欢 Absolutely wonderful little site. The owner was very warm and welcoming on arrival and very helpful with local advice for things we needed. The picth was nice and level and the planting between for privacy was a wonderful collection of native and exotic. Will definitely stay again

喜欢 Such a nice site. Only stayed 1 night as sailing to scilly nx day. Clean facilities and lovely welcome from the owner even though we arrived after 9pm. Will defo stay longer nx time.

喜欢 A well maintained spacious site in a lovely setting with a small lake. Sparkling clean facilities.

不喜欢 The welcome was functional not at all cheery but perhaps we arrived at a bad moment.

being charged another night if not displaying a piece of paper (why?)

We do not have a small lake or a lake of any description,we are always happy should our guests require wood or a barbecue for their enjoyment , all our pitches are hard standing without grass. Drive 10 minutes down the road to Marazion to see the iconic St Michael's Mount and to explore two sandy beaches, or walk there from Penzance (two miles) along an almost entirely level traffic-free path. Other local outdoor attractions you won't want to miss include the Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens (10 minutes' drive), where modern art meets panoramas over the sea, and The Minack Theatre (25 minutes), an open-air events space with regular shows in a spectacular clifftop setting. Finding yourself in St Ives (20 minutes) is another popular option, as this artsy north coast town is home to a Tate art gallery, a pottery centre and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden. For something a bit grittier (although without leaving behind the fantastic scenery), there's also the Geevor Tin Mine (20 minutes), where you can discover three centuries of Cornish industrial heritage. Hopping back over to the south coast, you're also within day-tripping distance of Falmouth and King Henry VIII's Pendennis Castle (50 minutes), while just driving west will take you straight to the Land's End Landmark Attraction (25 minutes) where you can look out over the Atlantic.
