Really good site and felt like a holiday camp as well as a campsite.

喜欢 Enjoyed the bar and restaurant facilities. Pitches were spacious and well maintained.
不喜欢 Maybe a few more toilet /showers. I appreciate we camped at the end of season and some facilities closed during our stay however in total there didn’t seem enough facilities to allow for the numbers that would be there in high season.

喜欢 On-site bar and restaurant was great. Lovely fresh pizzas. Nice little shop. All the facilities you could need. Nice welcome on our arrival.
不喜欢 Our pitch felt hemmed in somewhat. The showers in the toilet block weren’t that big, with curtains that let water through onto the small changing area. Other showers were bigger in separate block.

喜欢 Having stayed at other great campsites, I would put this site above all others. We have some fantastic sites closer to home in Norfolk that we love, but none of them put a glove on Macdonalds Farm. The facilities are second to none, showers and toilets are modern with no smells or drainage issues. The on site café, bar and restaurant is brilliant, the staff are friendly and accommodating. This is the best campsite we have ever stayed at. All topped off by the beautiful location and stunning local scenery, with the accompanying farm animals you can interact with. On our visit everyone on site was responsible and respectful which made for an amazing holiday in the Cornish countryside.

喜欢 5th time stay and would hands down use this beautiful location every time, as if the clean tidy ample facilities are not enough, the wonderful staff and low tide at Porthcothan are fire.
Food is fantastic and just all round smashing place to be.
