If you're tasked with finding a fine location for a family-friendly Cornish getaway, this could be the one. Trelay Holiday Park is 10 minutes’ walk from historic Pelynt (so old it’s mentioned in the Domesday Book, don’t you know), and 10 minutes’ drive from the popular and pretty fishing villages of Looe and Polperro. As well as having a wonderful location surrounded by green fields, everything’s equally enticing on the site as well. The dog-friendly park has neatly manicured grassy areas planted with lots of trees, and level spacious pitches for touring caravans and motorhomes. Convenience comes in spades too, with a large and pristine shower block, an on-site launderette and a communal food-prep room to make life easy for guests. Reception is manned by welcoming and expert staff between the hours of 10am and 4pm, so go straight there if you have any queries or issues. There’s an out-of-hours number if you have any problems outside those times. Should you run out of supplies while you’re there, simply stroll into Pelynt to the convenience stores or the butchers. Or perhaps you'd like to dodge the cooking completely and simply head to the village pub for wholesome food and a pint of Cornish ale? You are on holiday, after all…

喜欢 Lovely quiet clean site, very peaceful and ideal location.

不喜欢 Only 2 showers in the female block and 1 didn't have a working lock.
Also, not campsite fault but there was a caravan fire during our stay.

喜欢 we loved the clean and quite site and friendly people.

不喜欢 nothing from the site it was amazing.
I however would stay clear of the local pub as very unfriendly and food is on the rough side but this should not reflect the site as we loved it and rate it 10 out of 10

喜欢 Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Trelay, very large pitches. Spotlessly clean showers/toilets with plenty of hot water. Lovely surroundings with water features and very pretty flower beds. Our dogs enjoyed the dog park which was a nice size although we have seen bigger in other parks. We used the site map to walk to Looe and caught the bus back as the bus stop is just outside the park entrance. Really enjoyed our stay here and would return in the future.

不喜欢 No wi-fi on site as it had to be purchased separately…

喜欢 Every thing.Very well keep. Very clean. Very quiet.Very friendly staff and every one else we net. Nothing wrong at all. We have a touring caravan because we like going to different place, but we we will be back it Trelay again.

不喜欢 It’s not the fault of the site, but 1 or 2 people would just let there dog go any where ,as in between pitches there is a lot of well kept grass.

喜欢 Great setup. Lovely owners. Stayed at the far field with all the static Caravans. Good clean toilet block and water and waste easily accessible. Situated not to far from looe it was a great place to stay

If the kids are demanding days on the beach, there’s certainly plenty of choice along the southern Cornish coastline. East Looe beach is a favourite for families, with its gently sloping sandy beach – good for youngsters to have a splash around in the water – and the cafés and kiosks selling snacks and ice creams. The twin coves at Talland Bay (both 10 minutes’ drive) are also backed by cafés. If you’re keen to get out on the water itself, hire kayaks at Talland Sand beach and paddle along the stunning coastline. If you’d rather explore on two legs, join the South West Coast Path at Looe to hike an undemanding, relatively flat section of the long-distance hike to Polperro (all 10 minutes). Let the kids burn off energy on the zipwires or clamber over the inflatable aquapark at Adrenalin Quarry (25 minutes), and when only animals will do, take them to the Monkey Sanctuary (20 minutes) to learn about endangered primates and encounter Barbary macaques.
