喜欢 I spent my 40th birthday here with my mum, stepdad, my friend and her almost 3-year-old, and we were all really happy with the site. We had three campers between us. The short walk (20/25 minutes max) to the beach and into Fowey was a highlight - we loved that we could do everything on foot without needing to take a van.

The showers were warm every day and the sink was great for washing up. There’s both a portaloo and, more recently, regular toilets have been added through the gate in the large wooden-style building.

It’s a simple, no-frills site, but more than satisfying - we couldn’t have asked for better for a relaxed stay.

不喜欢 There was nothing we disliked about this site. Bring chocks and you will be fine!

喜欢 A great site, very close to Fowey , there is a footpath right into town next to the site . Toilets , shower , water what more do you want .

喜欢 Friendly and welcoming. Site clean and well cared for. Plenty of space.
New toilet block is definitely an improvement on the portaloo. Easy walk into the village. Loads going on in Regatta week and fun for all the family. New Coop up the hill is a benefit too as we came without a car.

喜欢 This is an excellent campsite if you don't require any electric hookup. Its a beautiful spot with amazing walks and on the doorstep of Fowey and the beach with a gentle walk down through the woods which is why we picked it. John, the owner is very helpful and informative and knows everything about the area. He was always up for a chat and the whole site was well maintained. We would highly recommend a stay here. So much to do and explore so we'll definitely be going back.

喜欢 The new toilets. Good location, not too far. Bus stop just by gate. Coop close by. Good value. You can catch a bus to polkerrin beach which is lovely. Small sandy harbour beach with two pubs. Bus runs until late in evening.

不喜欢 The hilly site, you can only really pitch around the edge. If you camp at bottom of the hill it’s steamy long walk to toilet in the middle of the night.

喜欢 Fabulously location with a nice walk into town or the beach. Really quiet and friendly with a flushing toilets! Basic shower (hot water) which was nice. No frills campsite but very good value for your money.

喜欢 Lovely location walking distance to Fowey and beach. Great walk to Polkerris on SW Coastal Path. Host friendly and informative.

不喜欢 Site is on a steep hill so hard to find a flat spot to camp. Shower is primitive

喜欢 Proximity is close enough to walk to Readymoney beach easily. It is a longer stretch for some people if they wish to go into Fowey town centre. There is a lovely longer walk to Polkerris too and St.Agnes

Bus stop right outside the town centre so can travel to Mevagissey, St.Austell, Par etc (there is a ferry to Mevagissey to Fowey if weather permits. This is quicker!)

Friendly owner

不喜欢 Toilet block being in a little way from the camping field. It is not completed properly yet and could possibly incorporate showers too. It may have been better to have had this built where the existing shower is in the same field as the campers but I assume there is a reason why it is not there

There are only a few areas that are completely flat for campervans but if you have levelling blocks it should not be a problem

No bins for rubbish and a chemical waste disposal facility would be beneficial

A little overpriced for the current facilities compared to other sites similarly priced but maybe paying for the proximity to Fowey?
