喜欢: Very clean throughout, lovely position next to Thames, ability to have friends over for the day to visit but most of all such lovely helpful staff throughout.

喜欢: For a spontaneous camping trip inside the M25 I was pleasantly surprised.
The staff were lovely, including recognising we were not on their best pitch to say the least and finding us something better without me saying anything. Showers hot and free. Washing up room and laundry. Play area very much for younger children but ours very happily went to the playground in the park next door.
Bring SUP / kayak / canoe!

喜欢: I've visited here a few times as a solo camper. I splashed out this time and got the electrical hook up as I was with my teenage son. Loved being able to use a firepit and having electric made life so much easier. The site is well maintained and the staff are helpful and friendly.

不喜欢: On the first night, a group of young males (maybe 6 of them) were being loud and they ignored the 10pm quiet time, drinking, laughing, and shouting till past 2 am!.

喜欢: This site has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and a really friendly vibe. What makes it stand out most, though, is the staff — they’re present, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Whether we needed a pub recommendation or general advice, they were happy to help.

The pitches were flat and there were plenty of water and electric hook-up points available throughout. Those along the river are flanked by trees, offering some welcome shade if needed.

The toilet facilities were basic but plentiful and kept clean. They were well thought out, with enough space to put things down and a large mirror in the ladies' (which was very handy!).

The site also has a playground and marked pitches for sports, which the kids were making good use of. These are centrally located so they’re easy for everyone to access. There are also picnic benches and a games room to enjoy.

It’s about a 15-minute walk into Laleham, where we had dinner both nights at The Three Horseshoes. The food wasn’t cheap, but it was excellent — well worth it in our opinion.

Walking in the other direction, it took us about 35–40 minutes to reach Chertsey. It’s a pleasant stroll along the river and over the bridge, with plenty of pubs, cafés, and supermarkets once you get there. If we’d had bikes, there would’ve been even more to explore further afield.

喜欢: I liked the amenities in the place was very clean and tidy .

不喜欢: The entry and exit times for vehicles were not respected at the site, and noise was heard after the hours established by the site.

喜欢: Travelled with a friend and our 10/11 year olds.
Really impressed with the staff - they were welcoming and friendly, great with the kids, and helped to entertain them by finding a scavenger hunt they could do. Other staff were playing football with some kids.
Toilets and showers were great and clean. There’s a little park on site great for younger kids, and one great for older kids just outside the gate so they went on their own to that - but we could still see them from where we were pitched.

Location was handy for getting in to London for the day.

喜欢: Location by the Thames
Ease to get into Staines by bus, stop was a short walk from site with a 7 min ride into town.
Helpful staff

不喜欢: Overnight 'humming coming from plant area very close to site edge.
Not enough hot water when site very busy.
