Whether it’s glades, moors or clifftops you've got your sights set on, walking and cycling are quite the treat in the New Forest National Park… and handily, Tom’s Field is a friendly place to start your engine, with New Forest Water Park 10 minutes’ drive away and beaches half an hour away in case you fancy a plunge down into the seaside. This is a small, family-run site, open on weekends and bank holidays only, with the family around the site most of the time so that you can count on a helping hand if you need it. The local community shop visits the site each morning to bring fresh bread and basic groceries and the site also sells wood and barbecue fuel (and hires out barbecues or fire buckets). Of course, you’ll be able to grab any extras you need from the wide range of shops in Fordingbridge, 10 minutes’ drive away. There’s wild swimming in the river Avon here, by the way, so you might want to wear your swimming gear. You won’t have to go off site to treat yourself to some forest scenery either, as the site looks over the woodlands and has access to an open heath and forest land where there are New Forest ponies and cows roaming around. If you’re searching for somewhere to be waited on, the site’s local pub is only 15 minutes’ walk away down the road. There are three more that you can get to with a little longer hike, between 45 minutes’ and an hour’s walk away.

喜欢 The site is in a nice position in the New Forest and has great facilities - clean and well-tended showers and loos, a coffee van, and some delicious and good value pizzas on the Saturday night. The staff were lovely and very organised - they have a great system for rubbish. The pitches were large and we liked the area we were in but were both very happy we weren't in the main field because it felt very exposed and quite crowded.

不喜欢 We were expecting a quiet site but there was a large, very noisy group at the bottom of the main field. Quite expensive, but my daughter really wanted to go to the New Forest.

喜欢 We had an amazing time last weekend. The facilities were just right, hot showers, clean toilets. The team were so friendly and couldn't do enough to help! Thank you for a great relaxing time and we will be back again.

The toilets and showers are the best. So clean and bright and spacious and fast hot water. Really couldn’t ask for anything more.

The views from the pitch are fabulous. Made even better with the riot of reds at sunset

Being able to have a campfire have real charm to the evening

Pizza on some evenings and good coffee first thing. Yay 🙌

喜欢 Everything! Lovely pitch in the woodland. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean facilities, hot showers. Great location and lovely to hear the call of a nightjar at night.

豪华旅行帐篷

喜欢 Lovely accomadation, facilities were brilliant and clean, staff where amazing and always happy to help in anything.. Coffee truck arrival every morning over the weekend and the pizza truck saturday night was a perfect way to end the day.

喜欢 Position of our pitch away from the side of the main road , spotless showers and toilets, friendly personnel . Fridge and freezer available and plenty of charging stations!

喜欢 Lovely well maintained clean site and facilities. Friendly owners who kindly located us in a area of the site with less children as we were on our own. Very warm showers which were clean and other people respected that which was nice to see. Toilets always topped with loo roll. Fire pits a great add on and great price. lovely to see multiple drinking water stations. The added bonus of being a no music quieter site, ensured a good nights sleep.

不喜欢 Poor connectively online but that stopped us being on our phones so not overall a negative.
