喜欢: Stayed in the fully serviced hot tub pitch with enclosed garden. Brilliant pitch, very friendly. Toilet and shower very close by. Some hooks near the hot tub would be good 😁

不喜欢: No dishwashing facilities near the pitch, have to use tent field.

喜欢: Enclosed garden area for dog. Pod was massive with kitchen facilities, hot water, beds. Decking area. Walk to neighbouring village. Showers and toilets clean.

不喜欢: Not much to do, so had to keep the child entertained. But not a bad thing really. Enjoyed the peace.

喜欢: Peace and quiet, lovely views and the owner - very friendly. Nice touch with fire pits and picnic benches to use.
The owner is working hard to update/improve the toilet blocks

The men’s toilet on the main site is fully operational and cleaned daily but as the sign says on the ladies door we are either asking campers to use the unisex toilet or the toilets by the pods.
I appreciate that there is some mess that occurs with renovation by the toilets but I’m not sure how you can class the facilities that were open as not clean. I cleaned them myself Monday morning when you arrived and again this morning when you left.

来自经理: Thanks for your review, I am shocked that you mention that the facilities were not clean as we have cleaners that come in once a day to deep clean and we also check the toilets regularly.
It is true that our farm is run down as we are constantly trying to prioritise where money should be spent at the moment we prioritise growing our little campsite which means that the farm building become neglected.
We have recently replaced all the picnic benches on the site so I think the ones you are referring to are the old ones. But I appreciate that these should have been removed.
In regards to the recycling all I can do is apologise, we have had some major issues with our refuse collection where they have essentially held us to ransom and refused to collect the bins unless we sign a new contract with them.
Looking back on the weekend as a whole when you booked, I totally agree that standards were not at the level we would expect for our guests and we are really sorry about that. If you would like to get in touch I will happily refund you. Thanks for your feedback :)

喜欢: The Animals, the views beautiful quiet base for exploring the local area easy check in. I love simple pleasures so this working farm was perfect for us.

不喜欢: The grass was really long and nearly burnt out my clutch reversing van onto pitch. Not an issue for the experienced caravanner but I'll need to stick with hard ground pitches for now

来自经理: I am so sorry about the grass; it is hard to plan that first cut and decide when is best to do it! It has now been done and will be regularly cut as sitting on the lawnmower is the only time I get peace from the kids 🤣. The hubby is always about on his tractor, he would have happily helped you! 喜欢: Great spot, nice views and space, clean showers, toilets. Plenty to see around there, great walks.

不喜欢: At the time of our stay one toilet block was closed which meant there was a large que for the pod block. Showers were cold and water pressure very poor..

来自经理: We are sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. We have had issues with refurbishing our toilet blocks, but have reduced occupancy by 50% to accommodate this. We weren't aware of issues with the showers. They are checked twice daily when cleaning but we will investigate why the temperature and pressure is dropping 😃
