喜欢 Loved the woods, the staff, the facilities were great, everyone was friendly and it was relatively easy to find. A very unique and really wild feeling experience.

不喜欢 I reckon it would be amazing if they had a shower.

喜欢 Facilities were clean, loved the setting and the thought of lending out wheelbarrows to move belongings to the site.

We heard so many owls at night and while sitting round a crackling campfire with friends, it was the loveliest experience ever. We've already rebooked for another time and can't wait to come back

喜欢 Toilettes propres, accueil efficace. Haworth et la campagne Brontë.

不喜欢 Pas de douche. Tondeuse du golf le matin au réveil. Code à taper pour entrer aux wc. Beaucoup d'humidité et de boue, il avait plu la veille de notre venue.

喜欢 Stunning setting, plenty of privacy between pitches, we stayed deep in the wood. Very friendly welcome. Incredibly clean toilets and clear instructions about how to use the site and stay safe.

不喜欢 It would be great if there were some showers, or cubicles with a sink where you could take a wash.

喜欢 This is hands down the best (nearly) wild campsite we’ve ever visited. Camping under a beautiful stretch of immaculate woodland, the site feels untouched despite how many visitors must come here — teeming with native wildlife (birdsong from dawn till dusk, fungi and lichen on every tree, we even glimpsed a couple bats). You obviously take care of and respect the land here. The staff were professional but warm. The mandatory fire safety talk was refreshingly clear and appropriate — no patronising lectures, just useful information delivered with respect for our intelligence. Our inductor answered all my questions and gave us a brief history of the land after I enquired. Facilities are minimal, as expected for a wild site, but they were well maintained and the toilets were the antithesis of your cliched, dirty campsite bogs. We are leaving feeling a bit more appreciative and connected with nature and very well looked after. If you’re after a peaceful, authentic, and responsible wild camping experience, this is the place. We’ll definitely be returning — and recommending it to others looking for something special. I wish more campsites/landowners took a similar approach to land ownership. It shows you can earn a living off of a natural habitat whilst preserving its biodiversity and teaching the public how to coexist responsibly in nature.

喜欢 Nice quiet woodland, clean flushable toilets, clean drinking water, friendly helpful staff.

不喜欢 The additional cost to have a fire which was daily, this is the only place I have camped in over 40 years that I have had to pay daily to have a fire, very restrictive in what you can do in the woodland, a lot of dead standing trees which makes the site unsafe in high winds ( the staff did say the site is evacuated in high winds )

喜欢 Great for an almost-wild camping experience in a beautifully managed woodland. The host was excellent, greeting me on arrival, and I really liked his focus on preservation and wildlife. He also endeavours to give people as private a pitch as possible which i really appreciated.

不喜欢 The only thing for me was actually out of the owner's control in that the pub could have been closer. The walk wasn't unbearable, taking about 20 mins, but I wouldn't tackle it if you'd been up the hills as I had that day as it's a bit up and down. Like I say though not his fault and pubs aren't to everyone's taste anyway
