喜欢: Amazing view, lovely friendly owners with clear instructions for the site, good and very clean facilities, very well looked after pitch.
不喜欢: Not a dislike but just to say - this site is amazing view for being up near top of hill, but (as owner themselves mentioned) obviously that means: 1. A slight slope to pitch on and 2. when it's windy/rainy it will be exposed so quite a different experience to calm dry weather.

喜欢: Lovely owners were really helpful with directions and a quick explanation of the site. Great view over the surrounding country side. Simple but good and clean amenities. Great space to set up. Good access to A69, with Hexham being the larges nearby town. Good access to pubs just a little way away in Acomb.
A little sloped in parts but this is well explained in the booking and honestly not massively significant.

喜欢: We had a memorable stay at Sunniside, especially being able to witness 2 lambs being born and a third through the night. We were welcomed by Jim who showed us all the facilities and then met Holly who supplied us with plenty wood for our fire.
Easy to find, clean site, friendly hosts, plenty space for tents/campers.

Surprisingly good phone reception
不喜欢: It’s on a slope, so if busy, you could end up being uncomfortable. I was the first person to arrive, so got the flattest spot.

喜欢: The hosts organised the Aurora Borialis to be shining in all it's glory when we arrived - spectacularly timed!
But honestly, the hosts were great. We were going to arrive well after the stated check in time but they were really accommodating and kind about it. They were all very welcoming and the site was lovely and quiet. The shower was hot and fairly spacious. The bins and washing area were well thought out.
不喜欢: The shower could have been a little more powerful for my liking. But that is really nit picking for something we disliked. The place was great.
