喜欢 Good site and close to York with a bus stop right outside the main entrance. Taxi back at night was £13.00!
Café on site is superb, we had breakfast on Sunday morning and it was excellent.
Will book again.
不喜欢 The showers are very low pressure electric units and in my opinion need updating.

Quiet, clean and a good base to explore York.

喜欢 Quiet and clean caravan and camper site with a really nice cafe. The showers were warm clean and very modern. The number 40 bus leaves from the road at the entrance to the site regularly and it’s a 20min journey to York Theatre. It was a no fuss site that we would return to.
不喜欢 Just a little too far out to walk to Chester and no decent pavements.

喜欢 Quietness of site and location. The cafe was a nice treat and stayed for Sunday lunch
Amenities were clean and tidy

The site was easy to find…

喜欢 The site was easy to find and was quiet despite it being almost fully occupied. Lots of caravans pitched long term I think. The showers and toilets were clean and well maintained, fully heated which was appreciated in early October mornings!
不喜欢 Although the showers were clean, they were awful with water pressure. You either had a freezing cold shower that had good water pressure or a scolding hot dribble of water which was impossible to shower under.
We also didn’t like the lack of security on site, the check-in details outlined a coded barrier to entry and exit the site. However the barrier was permanently open, no manned reception or staff onsite made it feel a little open to anyone wondering about. Even though it was quiet with other campers, just felt a little exposed leaving the camper van and all our belongings on an empty site when there is a busy cafe & other businesses on the same road.

喜欢 Adults only, very peaceful site, no reception so you don't have to stop and book in etc, have WiFi on site, bus stops right outside so easy to get into York.
不喜欢 Showers are nice but could do with new shower heads as quite small
