喜欢 Great location close to the river. Very clean well maintained site with nice shower block.
Small cafe on site open every day 9-4.

Easy walk , just over an hour and mostly along the river , into York although there is a bus stop in the village a short walk away and an uber was less than £9 one way

不喜欢 The water taxi wasn’t operating when we were there but it is quite expensive so might not have used it anyway
(Uber was under £9 for 4 of us back from York. Water taxi was £17 each return )

喜欢 Good sized pitches , warm clean modern showers and toilets. Dog friendly!
Lovely setting in pleasant village with easy bus routes into York.

不喜欢 No shop , restaurant closes Monday / Wednesday out of school holidays. No staff around for help.

喜欢 Lovely small site immediately adjacent to river. Very peaceful. We stayed on a medium pitch (no awning). Water and equipment at pitch. Clean, well maintained toilet block, laundry and washing up area. Cafe and restaurant on site. Acess to Riverbus into York.

喜欢 Everything! Gorgeous site, immaculately clean. Peaceful and oh my word; the toilets!!! It was so lovely having a shower that didnt switch off every 8 seconds! This is definitely the most luxurious campsite we have stayed on to date.

不喜欢 The fact we had only booked this site for 1 night! Definitely going to plan a trip back up for a couple of nights.

喜欢 Toilets and shower block were the best I have ever stayed at. Very pretty location.
Nice cafe on site.
Bishopsthorp is a very pretty village, co-op close by and a couple of good pubs.
On the no 11 bus route, which is 15 mins into York City centre.

不喜欢 Pitches are quite small.
