不喜欢 Run down site , mainly statics and by the looks of it long stay caravans . Reception closed on arrival . Toilet and shower block very run down . Lady in the bar was welcoming but didn’t know that our details had been left on the bar for check in . Although the pitch was adequate we won’t be returning

Bar and restaurant was nice and good value for money

We’re glad you enjoyed the location, and appreciate you noting that this visit was in Site 2, which is set a little further from the lake. For guests who prefer to be by the lake, we do recommend selecting your preferred pitch when booking, as all available pitches are clearly shown at that time.

Regarding your comment about the pitch, Site 2 is a grassed area specifically designed to accommodate tourers and motorhomes, with space left between for comfort. We’re sorry if this wasn’t quite what you expected.

We also take your comments about the toilet block on board, and we’re working to make improvements in that area.

喜欢 Staff were Friendly site was very peaceful. For the price it is a nice site.food in bar was outstanding and great prices

不喜欢 The toilets and showers are in desperate need of full make over . Holes in toilet ceiling mould all over the shower try and curtains, smelt fusty black dirt and cobwebs all over we had been placed so far away from the children's play area in park 2
Took 15 mins to walk with small child
Bar did not open in the afternoon so you could have a cold drink while children were playing

A full refurbishment is scheduled, and we’re confident these updates will make a big difference to our guests' comfort and experience.
We also understand how important it is for families with young children to be close to the play area, and we're always happy to accommodate special requests where possible. We'll also be reviewing our afternoon bar opening hours as part of ongoing improvements.

不喜欢 No one said what's where just where to park. Couldn't find bin . We had to Explore everything by ourself . Mobile signal terrible . No wi fi .

We're sorry to hear that you felt a little lost on arrival, we always aim to provide a friendly and informative welcome, and we’ll be reviewing how we can make our check-in process clearer and more helpful moving forward, including better signage for things like waste points.

With regard to the mobile signal and Wi-Fi, we do note at the time of booking that Wi-Fi is not available and that mobile reception can be limited in some areas of the park. This is very much by design, as we aim to offer a peaceful, relaxed space where guests can switch off, unwind, and enjoy a break from the usual digital noise of everyday life.

That said, we understand this may not suit everyone, and your comments help us balance that rustic charm with clearer communication and easier orientation around the site.

We hope you’ll consider giving us another try in the future — perhaps with a fresh set of eyes.
