喜欢 Lovely quiet location, close access to Easy coast and town of Saxmundham. Friendly host and easy water and hook up.

不喜欢 Although the facilities were fine on the whole, I feel they would benefit from some updating.

喜欢 Unfortunately, there wasn’t anything to like about this campsite. I’m sorry to say.

不喜欢 Again, I’m sorry to say this campsite is awful.
Overgrown and unkempt with ancient facilities.
This place is more like a dumping ground for old caravans and furniture.
The landscape is unkempt, bumpy and almost zero grass.
My pitch was in the bushes without any sunshine and I soon left and found somewhere else.
How this place is still running I do not know.

We aim to offer a relaxed, rural, and off-grid style experience, but we are sorry to hear that your pitch didn't meet your personal preferences.

As a natural rural woodland farm site, our non-electric pitches are set amongst authentic young woodland surroundings rather than manicured lawns, even though I do pride myself on the lawns around the site which I spend a great deal of time cutting with the lawnmower each week.

We continuously clean, maintain and check our facilities and site grounds, though we appreciate our rustic setup isn't for everyone. We really wish you had spoken to us directly while on-site rather than leaving so abruptly, so we could have offered you an alternative pitch nearer the front that better suited your sunlight, grass and space preferences.

I would have happily had moved the furniture out of the way if requested and then moved the furniture back when the tent family arrives the next day!

喜欢 A nice quiet peaceful site. We had booked in for a ‘working weekend’ where we needed to be on hook up, so we didn’t go out and about much, but the campsite had everything we needed.

喜欢 - Jaik waited for me despite having to arrive late (9.50pm due to work constraints and after a long 4h drive). He was so kind and still took the time to show me to my pitch and explain the facilities.
- Beautiful campsite amongst the trees, with lovely morning bird concerto
- Quiet and peaceful (minus some very chatty ladies past 10pm); perks of going off-season
- Very clean facilities; showers and toilets. I also had a very nice hot shower with very good pressure
- Useful dishwashing hut with all the necessary household products
- Grass was cut at a good height
- I camped in my own car, so haven't used their caravans
- I felt very safe
- Wi-Fi a bit sketchy, but they do advertise that and I still managed to do what I had to do

不喜欢 I couldn't find a type G 3-pin socket to plug my fridge into on the electric hook thingy. It looks like it's only for some form of round adapter. Had to keep my fridge plugged into my power station, which wasn't the plan nor ideal. But it could be that I was so tired I couldn't see it.

喜欢 Great location for Southwold, Minsmere, Aldeburgh and surrounding area. Showers and loos clean. Plenty of hot water. Jaik was helpful as ever (our second visit). Very reasonably priced.

喜欢 Lovely little campsite. Great location for exploring Suffolk coast and heathlands. Cafe and pub both close which was handy. Jaik was very welcoming and made sure I had the best pitch for my needs (an anxious dog). Would stay again.

喜欢 I loved the quirky nature of this site; the pitches were spacious a well placed, and the whole site felt extremely safe especially for people travelling with children. The owner Jaik (although I didn’t meet him) communicated via text offering me several pitches, even though I’d booked. It’s situated in a great area close to beautiful coast and countryside. Extremely good value for money too. I’d definitely return.
