喜欢 Easy check in, nice shower block. Only stayed 1 night and was out most of the day so didn’t really see much of the site

喜欢 The park was easy to find and well signposted to check in. On arrival staff were extremely friendly and showed us to our pitch, which was of a really great size and well maintained. The play park was a great bonus and of an evening the snal fishing lake was nice to walk around and we even saw the horse in the field behind. Toilet blocks were of really high quality and were NEVER dirty, whatever time of day we went in, and we never had to wait for a toilet or shower.

喜欢 A very well kept site, immaculately clean and I mean spotless. Lots of hot water, great facilities and the pitch sizes are nicely sectioned. The couple that manage Tall Trees are fantastic, so friendly. We were even helped to pitchup which for us is unusual, normally we are left to our own devices. So at first we were a bit 'off' with him until we realised he was being helpful. So apologies for that, and thank you for a wonderful stay. 👍

喜欢 Helpful site manager. Clean warm toilet block. Clean washing up facilities. Respectfully other users of the site. Level pitches

不喜欢 The pitches are relatively small and not as private as we would prefer. The touring area is within a static site, okay for shorter stays but reminiscent of seaside holidays sites. However it is well run and well maintained. The showers are difficult to use as you have to hold them on with one hand and wash with the other

来自经理: Thank you for your review, we are pleased that you found the site was well run and well maintained, with regards to the showers quite a few sites that we know of have push button showers like ours, this is to cut down on wasted water usage and to help prevent flooded shower rooms when the water is left running.
Our pitches are a standard size and are usually more than adequate for the majority of campers however, i don't know where you were pitched, if you had told us at the time you wanted a more private pitch we could have moved to one of the 2 quieter pitches.

喜欢 Spacious pitches the owners was lovely always happy to help the toilets an shower block is always clean an warm too! Nice site over all! Will definitely be returning as its only 40 minutes away

喜欢 When I booked this park, I didn't notice it was in the city, but I was pleasantly surprised.A small caravan park surrounded by private static caravans.The owners were very nice, and it was very clean.

不喜欢 We set up a small barbecue on the bricks. They told us to turn it off. Even though the sign said it was allowed. However, the toilets were code-operated, which was inconvenient for me, given my visual impairment.A 10-year-old child was bored and had to be warned by the owners. The caravan park is more for younger children.

来自经理: Hi Barbara, thank you for your review, on arrival everyone is given a set of site rules along with their booking card, it clearly states on those rules that we do not allow disposable BBQ'S, this is due to someone only having two small bricks underneath one and setting fire to the grass, they then threw the hot bbq into the bins and set them on fire, so they have not been allowed on site since.
You told us one of your party was disabled, if you had told us you were visually impaired, we could have given you the key for the family bathroom which does not have a keycode.
With regard to the 10 year old being told off, children are supposed to be supervised at all times and not left to wander off the campsite onto the very busy road for the residential homes, he was asked to return back onto site for his own safety.
I hope we have acceptably covered all the issues you raised and wish you happy camping for the future.
