Grab the dog (if you've got one – no need to acquire one specially) and head to Cresslands Touring Park in South Lincolnshire for woodland walks and lazy days near the River Glen. A good base for exploring the surroundings and enjoying a bit of outdoor time, the park is five minutes from a peaceful woodland, for long walks and spotting wildlife (including the kingfishers which live along this stretch of the glen). Guests can also head to the nearby river for walks, or take bikes out onto quiet countryside lanes. Not got a mutt? The site's also welcoming to cats, rabbits… even kids. Whoever's in your party, head to the opposite riverbank for a popular walking spot leading to the nature reserve along the Macmillan Way, a long-distance footpath linking Boston in Lincolnshire to Abbotsbury in Dorset. After all that fresh air you won’t have to venture far for a drink and a bite to eat – Waterside Garden Centre is 500 metres away with a restaurant, and there are a few pubs around a mile away if you fancy some pub grub. Cresslands is four miles south of Bourne, which has a greater selection of eateries, and the historic town of Stamford, with its attractions such as the famed Burghley House and Park and open-air theatre, is about a 25-minute drive. Bathroom facilities on site include two showers, two toilets and two wash basins with instant hot water and nifty extras including shaver ports and hand dryers. Two washing-up sinks and a washing machine are also available.

喜欢 Very friendly welcome from David. The owner /operations /guy (man with many hats)
Layout great, walks along the river. Bird hide to lookout for Kingfishers. We personally saw. Deer, Hairs & lots of birds

不喜欢 My only neg is small. The A15 is close. we stayed 3 nights and you get used to the noise.
When you look at the price per night this reflects the price of the stay.

喜欢 Fantastic little site nice and relaxing, fully serviced pitch on hard standing great size . Amenities nice and clean and of mixed use not a problem everytyou needed . The owner Dave very helpful and always said hello on his rounds nice bloke . We will definitely return here as we really enjoyed our visit.

不喜欢 Nothing to dislike the road can be a noisy but it didn’t bother us at all .

Die gelijk mee ging zoeken toen onze teckel was losgeschoten uit zijn tuig.
Gelukkig na een zoektocht van een halfuur onze hond terug gevonden.

喜欢 This is a lovely site in a tranquil setting (if you ignore the traffic noise) with an abundance of wildlife beside a river. The pitches are large, perfectly level, fully serviced and private. The toilet and shower facilities are spotless. The site is a credit to the inspiration and hard work of the owner David who made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. We shall definitely return. Recommend visits to Bourne, Stamford and the Six Bells Pub about 5 miles away.

不喜欢 2 showers and 2 toilets for the whole site and they were unisex, not to everyones satisfaction, no vanity basin in the shower room, so you had to brush your teeth on display in the sink that everyone uses for handwashing. No disabled facilities. No shop onsite / no pubs or anything nearby within safe walking distance . We were given a pitch a long way from the toilets /shower block as we had a problem with our motorhome and filling it with water. So were relying on use of the wash facilities. Dimly lit at night. Site next to a busy noisy main road . Very disappointed 😞. Couldn't wait to leave and wont be returning.. Site needs development and there is huge room for improvement..
