Grab the dog (if you've got one – no need to acquire one specially) and head to Cresslands Touring Park in South Lincolnshire for woodland walks and lazy days near the River Glen. A good base for exploring the surroundings and enjoying a bit of outdoor time, the park is five minutes from a peaceful woodland, for long walks and spotting wildlife (including the kingfishers which live along this stretch of the glen). Guests can also head to the nearby river for walks, or take bikes out onto quiet countryside lanes. Not got a mutt? The site's also welcoming to cats, rabbits… even kids. Whoever's in your party, head to the opposite riverbank for a popular walking spot leading to the nature reserve along the Macmillan Way, a long-distance footpath linking Boston in Lincolnshire to Abbotsbury in Dorset. After all that fresh air you won’t have to venture far for a drink and a bite to eat – Waterside Garden Centre is 500 metres away with a restaurant, and there are a few pubs around a mile away if you fancy some pub grub. Cresslands is four miles south of Bourne, which has a greater selection of eateries, and the historic town of Stamford, with its attractions such as the famed Burghley House and Park and open-air theatre, is about a 25-minute drive. Bathroom facilities on site include two showers, two toilets and two wash basins with instant hot water and nifty extras including shaver ports and hand dryers. Two washing-up sinks and a washing machine are also available.

喜欢 A beautiful location, excellent very clean facilities and a really lovely atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay so much that it definitely stood out as our favourite campsite of the whole trip. Thank you, we would definitely be returning. Wished we had stayed longer.

Great facilities, host so helpful, large pitch, lovely site for our first motorhome experience. Toilets and showers lovely and clean. Will definitely be back.

喜欢 This site is gorgeous. The grounds are lovely and the pitches are big and level. David the owner is a genuine guy and cares about his home and gardens that he is sharing. Bus stop very near site. Nice pub a mile up the road for Sunday dinner.
Super dog friendly too with lots of nooks and cranny’s to sniff.
Highly recommend.

喜欢 Very friendly welcome from David. The owner /operations /guy (man with many hats)
Layout great, walks along the river. Bird hide to lookout for Kingfishers. We personally saw. Deer, Hairs & lots of birds

不喜欢 My only neg is small. The A15 is close. we stayed 3 nights and you get used to the noise.
When you look at the price per night this reflects the price of the stay.

喜欢 David and Jo were very friendly and helpful, the site was clean and well presented. The welcome booklet was a nice touch with a find the animal names scattered around the site to win a free weekend stay. Pitches are a good size with bushes between offering privacy.

不喜欢 Lack of pavements to walk to nearby towns directly from site.

喜欢 Fantastic little site nice and relaxing, fully serviced pitch on hard standing great size . Amenities nice and clean and of mixed use not a problem everytyou needed . The owner Dave very helpful and always said hello on his rounds nice bloke . We will definitely return here as we really enjoyed our visit.

不喜欢 Nothing to dislike the road can be a noisy but it didn’t bother us at all .
