If you're off for the day to Ingoldmells, how about turning it into one, or two, or more? Simply stay at the friendly and welcoming The Kings Head, an adults-only site just west of Ingoldmells in the small town of Addlethorpe. In a peaceful setting near Skegness and with easy access to the sights and attractions of Lincolnshire and beyond, The Kings Head is also home to a family-run pub and restaurant with high standards, a welcoming vibe and homecooked food alongside a wide range of beers and wines. It's a five-minute drive to Ingoldmells from here and less than five miles from more beach days at Lincolnshire's most visited seaside town, Skegness. The site shower block has been overhauled to high standards in recent years, and a heating system installed so that all days can start off with a piping hot shower, whatever the weather. And then – perhaps – a stroll into Ingoldmells, a drive into Skegness or a potter along the Lincolnshire coast…?

喜欢 Staff all nice and friendly very clean site great bar that does a beaut sunday roast only a 15 minute walk into Ingoldmells toilet block immaculate like how they leave toiletries in there didn't use myself as had my own but a lovely touch

喜欢 I liked it a lot . Toilets very clean & very quiet place everyone on the site was very friendly. There also toiletries in the shower incase you forget yours at home, l thought it was a good touch . We didn’t do a lot we went out as we had family members visiting Skegness, but next time we will try & enjoy the entertainment at The King’s Head. Can’t wait .

不喜欢 The only criticism l have is on the pitch there a concrete to go over with the caravan, it took us some time to park the caravan, l wish it was level. The good thing was it wasn’t raining if its was then we would have been wet trying to get the caravan over the concrete. The Kings Head sign is on one way & it was difficult to see the place , we had to drive around again & asked the locals, no signs for the reception we had to go in the restaurant/ pub to ask. The staff were marvellous.

喜欢 The site is very clean, a spotless shower/toilet block. Cctv throughout the park. Nice bar clubhouse. Nice food friendly staff.

不喜欢 Saturday night pumping loud music till 12oclock and being kept awake till 2.45 Sunday morning. Not what we wanted at all on a short brake

There is no grass as stated in the description i.e fully serviced gravel pitch. if you had asked we would have moved you to a grass and gravel pitch. We also state in our description that there is a pub on site with weekend entertainment. we always finish at 12pm so don’t know why you were kept awake until 2.45am? but thanks for your review may we suggest not booking where there is a public house with weekend entertainment for All.

Ingoldmells, five minutes’ drive or 15 minutes’ walk from The Kings Head, is probably best known for its theme park, Fantasy Island, with indoor and outdoor rides and the world’s longest suspended rollercoaster. Shops, arcades and a huge indoor market open seven days a week are recommended stop-offs in town too. The nearest beach is a mile away from The Kings Head, but more sands are in Skegness (15 minutes' drive), or you could travel a bit further up the coast to other Lincolnshire seaside towns like Sutton on Sea (20 minutes) and Mablethorpe (25 minutes). Plenty of family-friendly attractions as well as the seaside resorts are handy if you’re around with the kids, such as the open-air museum of The Village Church Farm (15 minutes) in Skegness, telling the tale of rural British life before mass urbanisation, alongside family activities like chicken feeding, fancy dress, bug hunting and storytelling – do drop in to say hi to Bob the Hornsby steam engine too.
