Settle in for an afternoon's fishing and look out for wildlife like deer, rabbits and birds, all in a lovely Welsh/English border locale among old oak trees and Neolithic stones… welcome to Broadstone Park. This is a small, peaceful and family-run site between the market towns of Monmouth and Coleford, named after those Neolithic stones and in an area with plenty of options for walking, cycling and other outdoorsy activities. Indeed, the site is well-liked among the mountain biking community. Set yourself up for a day of pedalling at the Forest of Dean Cycle Centre, 15 minutes' drive away, or a day of family-friendly activities at Puzzlewood, 10 minutes' drive away. Back at base, there is a small spring-fed coarse fishery for guests' use, stocked with carp, rudd, perch and bream and open daily from dawn to dusk. There's also a bar and a café on site for easy refreshments. Other facilities at Broadstone Park include a toilet and shower block.

喜欢 Great campsite! Loved the location with lots in the doorstep to explore with kids.
The animals weee a fun touch and there was plenty of space in the field where we camped.

不喜欢 Close proximity to the road which was noisy.
There was also an illegal rave a few miles away which was blaring music through the night, but this of course couldn’t be helped. It was just a bit unfortunate. Other than these two points it was top notch!

喜欢 Clean and spacious site, great little bar/cafe, staff very friendly.

不喜欢 Noisy road, donkey right behind our tent woke us up at 5am and a illegal rave going from 12am all through the night on in the field across the road

喜欢 The campsite was clean, spacious, had great views, not too busy, toilet and shower facilities were close by, pizza was good, staff were really helpful and friendly, quiet at night and nice animals and nature in the morning.

不喜欢 At first glance doesn’t cater to specific allergens we have in the group however further information wasn’t requested from the staff.

喜欢 A wonderful camping break with everything we could have hoped for.
The site itself was fantastic, well laid out, and clearly cared for. The toilets were clean and regularly checked. The owner and his family were genuinely amazing — friendly, welcoming, and always accommodating.

The facilities were fantastic, and the location was spot on. We loved that you could head straight out for a forest walk right from the camp. The on‑site pizza and bar were a real bonus, perfect for easy evenings after a day outdoors. The fishing ponds were a delight too, and we were really impressed by how seriously the owner took safety — he made sure the kids knew not to go near the ponds without an adult, which we appreciated.

Overall, a brilliant camping holiday. Relaxed, well‑run, family‑friendly, and full of thoughtful touches. We’ll definitely be back.

喜欢 Location great for Forest of Dean & Wye Valley. I loved the noisy donkey 🫏 and finding a random turkey wandering about🦃 owners great following my request of a corner plot under trees away from the road.

不喜欢 Cleanliness of the toilets & showers. Also children running in and out of toilets playing tag and screaming after dark but that's on the parents and my own fault f8r not booking an adult only site.

不喜欢 The 'mixed recycling'. This could be organised so much better to encourage people to recycle properly. The bins were over flowing and rubbish starting to spill out.

喜欢 Open fields and ability to have a good family get together, with vans able to be clustered together and to play badminton without disturbing anyone. Friendly staff. Bar and cafe. Location

不喜欢 The site was busy and there weren't quite enough toilets and showers. Also the shower block could have been a bit cleaner.

Straight from the rear of the site are several woodland walks, one of which takes guests past the Broad Stone, after which Broadstone Park was named. Others cover part of Offa's Dyke and walks to Monmouth, the River Wye and local viewpoints like famed Symonds Yat: ask the site team for their faves to follow. Also in the area are heritage options like Caldicot Castle and the Clearwell Caves, and the buildings and pleasure grounds of the Kymin, highly praised by one Admiral Nelson (take the trek up to the Round House for the best views). Many other walks, cycle paths and swinging around in the trees at Go Ape are in the Forest of Dean, half an hour's drive away, and both Monmouth and Coleford are around 15 minutes' drive away for more urbanised days out.
