Power optional grass campsite
Liked Great location for forest of dean, lovely fishing lakes and surroundings
Disliked Unfortunately owner had issues with the boiler for the showers which was out of his control so only one set of showers worked with hot water but he rotated the shower rooms during the day to accommodate male and female showers having hot water

Power optional grass campsite
Liked Myself and my partner really enjoyed our camping trip in the fields. We got to see lots of friendly farm animals and the fish we caught were very healthy and active. Customer service was wonderful. It was very relaxing and peaceful; we will definitely be staying again :)

Excellent site, friendly staff, good facilities, easy access to forest
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Plenty of spacious and level pitches. Short walk from all facilities.
Liked the mini dishwashers and communal fridge and freezer.
Showers hot and good pressure.
Pizza's homemade on site were delicious and well priced.
The bar was welcoming for refreshments day and night and the staff always happy to share tips about local walks and days out.
Disliked Only 1 water standpipe ??
Toilet/shower block got pretty messy with grass being walked in. A broom would be good for campers to use.....as well as squeegees in the showers to keep the floors clean.

From the manager: thank you for your review.
Sorry if you felt the shower block let us down a bit.
we tried our best to keep up with thing in the shower block this weekend.
however behaviours of some people were a bit above and beyond..
plus grass cutting was left late this week so another challenge with cutting on peoples feet
