Tyckte om Loved the riverside grass pitch with EHU. Had its own bench, own fire pit and own bbq platform…as well as the river setting. Toilets and Shower block were great too…push button showers that were instantly warm and ran long enough on one push. Zero WiFi and no signal…may be a problem for some, but amazing if you’re trying to escape that digital, connected world…which I was for 16 hours.

Tyckte inte om Only slight point…it was very dark around the site, maybe some small solar lights would be good to signpost people in the dark…but really…who doesn’t have some sort of light source on their phone…or a torch.

Tyckte om Incredible location. Great shower-toilet facilities, good laundry room and really thoughtful communal area with local information. The site itself is incredibly well kept, with amazing mountain views. Widely accessible WiFi across the site as let’s face it, we can’t live without connectivity as much as we try. To top it off, the staff/wardens were cool, very chatty, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the site.

Tyckte om Great laundry and washing up room, decent toilet and shower facilities and a wonderfully well kept campsite. Neat, tidy and a lot of hard work clearly put in by landscape team. Lovely pair in the reception too, chatty, bright and welcoming. Having an EHU down by the pleasant stream at the bottom of the sight complimented the peaceful location perfectly.

Tyckte inte om Jacuzzi for that bougie dark sky viewing experience! In all seriousness there’s nothing to be improved. Really great site.

Tyckte om Great showers and toilet blocks. Used the shop which was sufficient. Clean and tidy site. Didn’t use ‘The Venue’ but I’m sure it’s lots of fun for families. Easy to access from main roads running through Northampton.

Tyckte inte om Lots of kids cycling about in the dark with no lights which seemed unsafe as cars and vans were still driving about. Some noise late at night from chavs yelling at their mates. Could do with staff enforcement of good conduct amongst visitors.

We’re really pleased to hear that you found the site clean and tidy, enjoyed the shower and toilet facilities and found our onsite shop handy during your stay. Being easily accessible while still providing somewhere to relax and enjoy a break really is in our nature! We do appreciate your comments regarding children cycling after dark without lights, and we completely understand your concerns around safety with vehicles moving around the park. We would always encourage everyone to be mindful of other guests and to enjoy the park safely and responsibly. We’re also sorry that you experienced some late-night noise. We expect all our guests to be respectful of others, particularly during quieter hours, and our team and Security are there to assist when issues are reported. Tyckte om Peaceful site. Shower/Toilet blocks were both good quality…push button showers but they fired out good hot water! Well kept site throughout.

Tyckte om Tidy, well kept site with lots of quaint lakes and trees creating a tranquil atmosphere. The lady on reception was very helpful, and engaging.

Tyckte om Peaceful, spacious, surrounded by trees. The toilets and shower facilities were pleasant and better than I was anticipating, so credit to the hosts for that! Great value for money and perfect for a solo stopover for a basic facility campsite.

Tyckte inte om There’s nothing I disliked. It was great value for money, and a chilled pleasant place to stay.

Tyckte om Peaceful, quiet campsite. Limited number of pitches created a really relaxed and calm environment. The host/site manager was incredibly helpful and engaging. The toilet and shower was very clean (one or two more would be handy but not essential) and the washing kitchen facility was great. A really lovely little campsite to escape the world for some peace and quiet!
