Tyckte om The views, the facilities for the price paid, location was away from the crowds with easy hiking access to the surrounding countryside

Tyckte inte om Not specific to the site itself but for first two nights other ‘campers’ clearly don’t understand no noise after 10pm (as in could hear music/chatter until 2am). Not a warm welcome from reception- zero smile or interest in me as a guest.

Tyckte om The village feel of the area, the layout of the campsite, the walkability of the pub and countryside

Tyckte inte om Not the sites fault specifically, but a group of about 10 were up all night and could be heard during quiet time.

Tyckte om Space, eco friendly nature of it, location, the welcome

Tyckte inte om Nothing dramatic. Hooks in back of toilet doors could do with being a different colour as didn’t see them and hit my head.

Från föreståndaren: Thank you for your lovely review . It’s great to hear you loved our eco friendly low impact campsite. We are very fortunate to have a great location in the centre north Nofolk with easy access to the beautiful coast and so close to the broads and other great attractions . We are within walking distance via an off road public footpath to the historic market town of North Walsham . We will definitely look into the colour of the coat hooks ! See you back soon Magpie meadow

Tyckte om Space, very tidy, great location for exploration, local pub, beach 20 min walk away, host

Från föreståndaren: Thank you for your review.

Tyckte om Quiet open space

Tyckte inte om Not specifically about the site itself, but there is a lack of footpaths across fields to walk the dog which meant road walking. The roads are super quiet so the risk is low.

Från föreståndaren: Hello Andy, Thank you for leaving us a great review! We're so glad you enjoyed your stay with us (and the lack of phone signal) it's so nice to sometimes get away from technology! We hope to see you again soon. Best wishes, Naomi

Tyckte om Space, access to countryside, friendliness of staff

Tyckte inte om Main toilet block- would have benefited from being serviced across the weekend and some shelves/additional hooks in shower cubicles would be helpful

Från föreståndaren: I am sorry that you will not visit again due to the lack of shelving and hooks in the showers. If we were to put shelves in the showers this would cause a hindrance in getting dried and dressed, we have a hook on the inside and outside of the shower cubicle doors to hand a towel and clothing.

Tyckte om Spacious site, easily accessible, cafe on site was excellent, super friendly staff.

Tyckte om Wide open space Super clean portaloos Friendly warden Views across the fields and back across Fotheringhay Access to footpaths

Tyckte inte om Not dislikes as such but could do with firmer guidance on dogs as heard a couple of dog disagreements between pitches & be great to have a washing up area.
