Tyckte om Exactly what we wanted. We were a group of 27, mixture of children and adults aged between 1 and 50. Lovely small field, decent sized pitches, the kids could play on the field and we could see them at all times, felt very safe. Showers and toilets were always kept clean and stocked with toilet roll, showers had hot water. Owners were lovely and the kids loved the alpacas. Lovely quiet area, not much noise coming from the roads. A house a few minutes up the road sold fire wood. 15/20minutes from shops, beaches, Wookey hole, cheddar gorge. Good communication from the owners before we arrived. There’s no activities onsite, but we prefer campsites like that as we go off site during the day. But the children love making friends with other families staying and playing games/sports when we were onsite. Definitely recommend.

Tyckte om Was very relaxed, liked the freedom we had with pitching (non electric) it meant we could camp next to friends we were meeting there. Toilets and showers were clean. Owners were lovely. We always look for basic campsites so that the kids can run around and enjoy the space, and it was perfect for that. Good space but not too big, so we always felt safe letting the children play and the toilets were only a few minutes walk from us. Close to a town with lots of shops. Will definitely be back!

Tyckte inte om Wasn’t anything we disliked, maybe just a few tips for people looking to come- bring a fly swatter- there were lots of wasps around. And the ground is quite hard so would advise bringing screw in tent pegs or at least strong ones. But neither of these things are enough to take away from how great the site was.

Tyckte om It was absolutely perfect for us. Exactly what we wanted. Great amount of space for the kids to run around and play. Has a little hut which would have been great to sit in when it was raining. Very close to the beach, high street and big Tesco. Was a nice sized field, not too many people there at the same time as us, so we had a nice amount of space. Owner was friendly, came to check everything was ok every day, refilled the toilet roll and emptied the bins. Will definitely be coming back next year if it’s open again.
