Tyckte om Amazing location we had the whole place to ourselves beautiful view of the estuary and the sea.
Definitely come back here.
The single portaloo was clean and well looked after.
There is a steep track and two gates to get to the fields

Tyckte inte om Was not obvious when I made the booking that there was no running water (it was clear there were no showers) thankfully we brought some but it was quite awkward having to take Dirty plates into the town to wash them

Från föreståndaren: Hello thank you for staying with us, as a wild campsite we try and make it as wild as possible that includes no tap water and no showers, to make sure people can have the full immersive feeling of being in the wild. We have a loo and bins to keep the site tidy. And on the booking it does say no drinkable water point, I am sorry for the inconvenience it caused you!… many thanks hope to see you again!

Tyckte inte om After the really steep and rough road to get there, we pulled up and were surrounded by fly's, we didnt even get out of the van, we drove away and found another campsite, would not recommend

Tyckte om My 6.8 metre 3.5 ton motorhome managed the access ok, the track is not great, but fine if taken slowly. All is worthwhile when you see the view and experience the tranquility.
The facilities a minimal which suits us, but may not suit all.
I will certainly be going back!

Tyckte om Good location, good views, peaceful, clean mobile toilets, no hassle finding it and getting in. Only thing that could be improved is access rd, I’m good driver so not a biggie but my wife said she would struggle. Apart from that great experience and will use again when back in Wales. Thank you!

P.S. Host riding around on a quad bike with his dog was view worth extra star on this review👌🏽

Tyckte om Brillant views. Nice and peaceful.
Great for getting away from it all.
The step track drive is a bit daunting to drive up but that's what is expected in Wales.
Loved the camp fire set up, collect stones and wood for a make shift fire.

Tyckte inte om Despite being two portaloos this were in constant use as very busy.
The area around toilets was very muddy and need to step up the grass bank to get to them. Which can be a challenge.
This campsite would be ideal if it had showers and toilets nearer to the tents.
Signs on the gate would also benefit working out where to go.

Tyckte om Beautiful view. It was an incredibly busy bank holiday, and although I wouldn't describe it as wild camping, I will definitely be returning. I can imagine on most weekends it would be quieter and more appealing to those wanting to wild camp. The portaloos were kept clean and tidy. I loved being able to choose my own spot, having a campfire, having the pitch black at night. You can't get these in most campsites in aberdovey.

Tyckte inte om The road up was a little difficult but manageable, the campsite itself is on a hill, I was aware of both of these already before coming (looking at previous reviews) and it wasn't as bad as anticipated.
