Tyckte om We stayed for 1 night as we were visiting Chester Zoo. The owners are friendly and made us feel very welcome. Clean toilets and other facilities, lovely views and a fishing lake.
We would 100% recommend it and the breakfast was lovely. If we are up that way again we would stay here

Tyckte om the new owners are really friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for you to make you're stay as best it could be, the motorhome pitches are very spacious, the whole site is clean well managed.

It is quiet and peaceful it is also in a lovely location, there was fishing matches on so it was quite busy, and owner Dan sorted me out with a nice peg where i fished and caught plenty.

The vegan breakfast is amazing too, they also had some nice pieces of cake that we enjoyed after our dinner. would highly recommend and would recommend the fishing too as the lakes are well stocked.

5***** from us and we will be back

Tyckte om Dan greeted us on arrival explain everything about the site having just taken on the site. He was available if needed and worked late on improving the site. I’m not a fisherman but fishing facilities are excellent. Good food in onsite cafe

Tyckte inte om My wife is disabled they need a seat or stool in the shower cubicles to help people with disabilities to get dressed. Also lighting in wash rooms needed sorting

Tyckte om Lovely campsite thay was spotless. Lovely owner who went above a beyond to help us. Gorg cafe serving amazing food and staff were amazing. Would recommend to everyone and will definitely stay there again. Walking distance to the Lovely wepre Park

Dan the man 👍can’t do enough to make your stay exactly what you hoped for.
The cafe food was delicious excellent value.
Fishing ponds well stocked Dan keeps a well organised fisheries
Family only took over a few weeks ago, keep up the good work, wish you all the very best for the future… we will be back 👏👏👏👏👏👍

Tyckte om Daniel met us on arrival & he sat us down with a cuppa after our long journey, he was a really lovely owner & so very helpful, nothing was too much trouble, the facilities were very clean & tidy, the pitch was very spacious & right near the fishing lakes, as were all the pitches, the fishing lakes was really nice & well stocked with good size Carp, the Cafe is open during the day & the food is all freshly cooked, Daniel is a New Owner with lots of fresh ideas

Tyckte om Loved site nice fishing pools, well stocked, very welcoming on site , first morning we had a great breakfast, there was nothing that they wouldn’t do for you.

We’re really sorry about this, as of the 1st June we (Dan & Leighanne) are the new owners of Stamford way fisheries and camping and this will not be the case going forward. All we can do is apologise for the previous owners, and we hope you can give us another thought in the future.
