Tyckte inte om The awful long narrow road into the camp making it impossible for us to leave the camp in the evenings to go to a restaurant for an evening meal as we wanted to do. There wasn’t anywhere to socialise at night so we’re constantly stuck in our caravan. We ended up just wanting to go home. We cut our holiday down by 2 days as we were so disappointed. It definitely wasn’t worth the 5 hour long drive and the very expensive cost to stay there. 👎🏻

Tyckte om Amazing trip! Beautiful views, well kept site spotlessly clean, great facilities! 15 minutes to the local town Aberytswyth with so much to do! Pool and rocky beach perfect for crabbing, had a fabulous holiday!
We were on site Kestrel 3, right on the front, flat pitch with space for car on gravel.

Tyckte inte om Quite windy as on the seafront, batten down your tent! Also, if you have a big tent (we have berghaus air 6xl) there's not much room on your pitch once tent is up. But these are the flattest ones.
WiFi is payable on site £5 per day for up to 4 devices.

Tyckte om The pool is brilliant; very warm and a real draw for kids, especially on a rainy day. Play area great too; kids loved playing there and made some new friends Site was very peaceful and quiet; really nice place to relax. Good, clean facilities; toilets, showers, plenty of outdoor taps to refill water wothout walking for ages. Well maintained and friendly staff; the shop on site is great if you have forgotten your tin opener or need some basic supplies. Safe and secluded location meant we could let the kids go and play without worrying, but well signposted from the main road. Nice beach at the borrom of the cliff but not a sandy beach you could spend the day at, though kids loved rockpooling.Will definitely come again.

Tyckte inte om It is a two mile drive from the main road, which is mainly single track. This is difficult when you meet vehicles coming the other way: we only had a small car but would be much harder with a caravan or large vehicle. The camp site is also on a slope, which was quite difficult for sleeping. Kids rolled off their beds in the night which woke them up! Whilst we loved the quiet, one large family with 4 teenage boys were quite noisy until gone midnight so perhaps a reminder at reception when people arrive to be mindful of how much notice they make after dark!

Tyckte om Location was picturesque and a short walk to the beach. Staff really friendly and the guy that showed us to our pitch was really helpful. Nice clean toilet block and pot washing station. Didn't get to use the pool but we have stayed at bigher site that didn't have such a nice pool and being covered means it can be used much more then other pools. Loved going down to the beach to check out the rock pools and even saw a good sized lobster pop out briefly.

Tyckte inte om Totally not the sites fault as it's the nature of being on a hillside but the tent pitches being on a slope was difficult as we can't level off like the caravans can but we got round it in the end and it didn't take away from our stay.

Tyckte om Absolutely incredible and beautifully spotless place! I’m surprised the facilities haven’t been scrubbed away by the amount of times they get cleaned a day! Views are incredible, staff are welcoming and friendly, views are insane, other guests were all lovely and respectful. We do not make a habit of returning to sites as we prefer different locations and travel but would undoubtedly stay again if we are revisiting the area!!

Tyckte inte om The ONLY constructive criticisms I can add, which would have only enhanced our stay:

Nowhere to put things in showers except a hook, I am aware that a refurb is planned but even a little bench/ shelf in each cubicle would be super helpful!
Fortunately with a baby I was able to use the family room which was a necessity to get showered / dressed.

On note of the above, the temperature of the shower (only used in family room but I assume in all) are push on, they stay on for 10 seconds at a time which although very eco friendly, was inconveniently short. Also, and more importantly, the temperature could not be adjusted, and whilst lovely for a grown adult, it was far too hot for a baby (again in the family room).

Again, these points would just enhance the experience, I assume and hope will be rectified with the renovation and would not impede us returning in the interim !
