Tyckte inte om Lack of toilets for the amount of pitches.
There were at least a 100 people on Saturday night with only 6 or 7 portaloo’s between everyone which for the price of the pitch is a bit much.
Also I feel the entrance road could do with getting sorted as it’s not the best to drive down when loaded up with camping gear.

Thank you for your review and for coming to stay at the farm again this weekend. We really lucked out with the weather.

With regards to the toilets, we have nine units available. There are five units on the left as you come into the field and four units on the far side. Both sides of the field also provide an accessible unit, which is an increase from previous years at the farm. I service these units regularly throughout the day and night.

I too have had the pleasure of camping at the farm for many years now. When I took on the management of Newhouse Farm Camping last year, on behalf of the Goodwood Estate, the track was our first mission. You will have noticed the repairs that have been made to the track as you approach the field and the two passing places that have been added. These repairs and passing places will continue to take place until we have completed the whole track.

I do hope we will get to see you again soon.

Tyckte om The campsite was great. Went as a large group of friends and we had all that we needed. Rachel helped and checked in on us throughout are stay and was so lovely. Overall loved it and would definitely come again .

Tyckte om Beautiful location, lovely peaceful site. Rachael was very helpful and welcoming. The facilities are basic as stated, but very clean. The site has great access to walks in all directions, including South Downs Way and West Sussex Literary Trail with a good selection of pubs nearby. We walked to The Cricketers in Duncton (long uphill walk coming back), the Star and Garter in East Dean, and the Milkshake bar at Ides Barn Dairy. Brilliant for stargazing on a clear night. The photos don't do it justice, we will definitely be back!

Tyckte om Such a cute pod and a lovely campsite. Rachel was amazing, so friendly and welcoming. The site is clean, the toilets the cleanest portaloos to ever exist and I couldn’t believe how quiet it was!! I had the best nights sleep in that little pod.

Tyckte inte om Nothing really, I wasn’t even bothered by the lack of showers. It’s fine for one night, I might of struggled for longer without shower facilities

Tyckte om The wilderness! And the night sky full of stars was amazing. Feels like you are miles from anywhere but only 20 mins to Goodwood.
Rachel was welcoming and helpful.

Tyckte om The remoteness and the unique, tucked away position on the South Downs. Great walking right on the doorstep, possible to walk to local farm which has a Coffee Hut for morning caffeine fix and pastries/cake. Felt like a special spot. Nice and quiet at night.

Tyckte inte om Not having running water in the chemical toilets. The bumpy flint track up to the camping field. It was long with not many passing places. Not a trip you want to do apart from arrival/departure.

Tyckte om Always love coming to this site. It really is the ultimate place to relax and unwind in completely peaceful surroundings. Beautiful views and great walks in every direction from the site. Rachel is always so welcoming and friendly and genuinely interested in everyone who visits. Facilities are always spotless. Perfect site to escape the stresses of the world.

Tyckte om Being able to pick our own area in the field to camp and the relaxed nature of the campsite. The drinking water tap was so helpful considering we forgot to bring enough water to see us through our stay.
Our two dogs joined us for their first camping trip and we were relieved that each pitch was a generous size, so no hassle to give the dogs space to roam about on their long leads which we tethered into the ground.
The site manager Rachel is around regularly if you need her and is a lovely person. We’re looking forward to returning!
