Tyckte om We had an incredible time at Shepherds Views Campsite! From the moment we arrived, the staff were outstanding — available 24/7, warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. One staff member in particular went above and beyond, making sure everything was perfect for us.
The site itself is spotless and beautifully maintained, with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. What made it even more special was how accommodating they were to our dogs — they were truly welcomed, and we found some fantastic local walks right on the doorstep, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
If you're looking for a peaceful, well-run campsite with exceptional service and a dog-friendly vibe, this is the place to be. We’ll definitely be back!

Tyckte om Pitch size was generous with plenty of space between pitches. Site was really quiet and peaceful. We were greeted warmly.

Tyckte inte om WiFi signal poor at pitch but luckily TV signal good.

Tyckte om Good size pitches, service pitch good.

Tyckte inte om Facilities were dated and only 4 toilets and 2 showers for 84 pitches. Better facilities would be a bonus.
Pitches are not level so require levelling blocks for wheels and steadies.
Chemical waste and fresh water was at entrance gate so a good walk if you are at the top of the site. We were on service pitch so only empting the toilet was an issue so we used the car to do

On the date you stayed we had less than 5 guests on site, We do have two shower and toilet blocks which means we have more than enough toilets and showers for when the site is full, Both showers and toilet blocks are in full use when site is busy. We are a small site with 82 pitches. 9 toilets 9 showers are more than the legal requirement for the size of our site.
The site was quiet when you stayed meaning only one of the shower and toilet blocks where open, in this block we have four toilets and three showers.
We have over 12 drinking water taps dotted around site, one of these taps is located by reception, the rest of the taps are very close to all other pitches meaning drinking water is easily accessible for all campers.
The chemical waste point is located by reception which was around 200 metres from the top of site.

Tyckte om Loved the set up at Shepherds View. Good electrical supply on the Electric Grass Tent pitch. The area surrounding the pitch was ample with grass for the tent and gravel to park the car. Superbly looked after and Rachel was extremely pleasant and helpful

Tyckte om Family run site who are always welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Beach is literally 5/10 min drive and site is clean and well maintained

Tyckte om Tidy pitches and well kept grounds.
The young lady on reception couldn't do enough to help. She was friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond to try and help sort a few issues we had. Toilets were clean, especially the new toilet/shower block.

Tyckte inte om Toilet rolls wernt topped up enough especially when the pitches wernt full, we still had to go from toilet to toilet to find loo roll.
No reception opening times on reception door and we had to telephone each time we wanted to see someone as they seemed to be always closed.

Toilet rolls are checked regularly unfortunately i cant get into the toilets when people are using them, I refill and check them as regularly as possible. If you had came across toilets without toilet roll, if you had informed me of this i could have rectified it for you straight away.
Reception opening times are informed to you on arrival, on the door it also states its open till 7pm and if no one is in reception to call the number on the door, I have several other jobs to do in and around site meaning reception cant be manned at all times, but i am always available via the phone.
