Tyckte om Nice location. We had the place to ourselves so was lovely and peaceful
Good wash up and toilet facilities
Nice park for the kids
Small onsite shop that sells a good variety of things

Tyckte inte om It's on a little slope so not the flattest of ground. That's the only bad thing about the site

Tyckte om Ground well prepared and spacious field. Couple animals to see on the farm. Small shop available with essentials. Pizza van on a weekend. Great playground for kids. Clean toilets and no queues.

As a small seasonal business I'm afraid we do have a minimum card payment of £5 otherwise it wouldn't be viable with the amount of interest they charge, and if we didn't charge for the showers people stay in them for sooooo long we end up running out of hot water which also gets complaints ! At least this way everyone who wants one gets a hot shower ! Glad you enjoyed the playground and brewery.

Tyckte om The welcome sets the tone for your stay at any site you visit. This one will not disappoint as the welcome is very warm.
The family who run the site have been doing so for a few years and it shows. Everything you need is within your easy reach. Right down to the shop selling tent pegs as well as the other basic essentials you need.
The pizza shack (come horse box) is well worth a visit. Again ran by the family it puts local high street vendors to shame.
Great play area for the kids or grandkids, which is perfectly located in the centre of the site.
However be mindful that the area is popular and I’m guessing will be busy at times, but no stres as there is plenty of room on the camping field. Hopefully we will return in the future to share stories.

Tyckte om Really lovely site, immaculately kept, friendly and helpful people. Very high winds meant we cut our stay short but that’s just luck of the draw!

Tyckte inte om Noise from the quarry through the night led to disturbed sleep. Not sure if we were just unlucky or if it’s a regular thing.

Tyckte om Great views, good toilet ,shower block, washing facilities for the price, bonus of a small shop.

Tyckte inte om Nothing really to dislike only one thing which the campsite has no control over it appears to be on a flight path to a major airport and at night sometimes a lot of planes go over during the night

Tyckte om Great site. Amazing playground for kids with pitches close by so that you can keep an eye on them. The shop is well stocked and the facilities were clean and decent.

We stayed on a Saturday and Sunday night. The Saturday was quite lovely with kids on the playground, people playing music, etc. But nothing that earplugs can't solve. The Sunday night was the polar opposite - peaceful, quiet and calm. Lovely to see a site that can do both.

Will definitely be staying here again!

Tyckte inte om This isn’t the fault of the campsite but they suggest no noise after a certain time at night but there was loads of noise until nearly midnight.

We do have a no music policy after 10.30pm and ask people to be quieter after that time ,and children off the playground etc but people do like to stay up chatting sometimes, and hope they are respectful to their fellow campers, we do have security on site at weekends to implement this.
