What customers say
Great campsite with roomy spots & a top playground. Friendly staff, spotless amenities & a handy shop. Handy for local sights. Generally peaceful, but can get a bit noisy with fellow campers or local goings-on. Gets busy in peak season.

Liked Highly recommend this campsite, stayed here x3 times, with kids & extended family.
We were a large group with x5 pitches.
Clean toilets & shower block. Large washing up area with fridge/freezer.
Kids loved the park, kept themselves entertained. Staff are very friendly, let us do a late check out with no extra charge, which meant we weren’t rushing with breakfast & packing, what a difference that made. Beautiful scenery from our tent.
Disliked Lots of wasps.

Unpowered grass site
Liked It was our very first time camping and middlehills had been recommended by friends. We stayed one night and were lucky with the weather. Check in was easy, and the field was well kept. We have 2 children ages 8 and 3. The play park was ideal for both of them. The onsite shop was small but had a bit of everything you need. There is a fridge and freezer in the pot washing area to keep any food. We had pizzas from the pizza van on the Saturday night. Although they don’t stock gluten free they were more than accommodating to cook me a pizza on the base I provided. Our girls loved seeing all the animals in the surrounding fields - pig, chickens, pony, sheep. It’s a quiet spot, no traffic noise and the site itself was quiet. Everyone was just having a great time with their families. Staff were maintaining toilets and showers on the Sunday morning.
As a non camper middlehills farm was a perfect start and we will definately return. Thank you for our stay.

Great! Would visit again
Unpowered grass site
Liked The owners and staff were friendly. The campsite was well kept and had decent facilities. Lots of facilities to keep the kids entertained and out of trouble. Not too far to drive to great walks, pubs etc. Was pretty quiet after 10pm. Plenty of space and the facilities weren't overcrowded even though the site was fully booked.
Disliked Showers cut off too early.

Brilliant, just ruined by wasps.
Unpowered grass site
Liked The views, it was nice and flat, the staff were all friendly, onsite park for the kids.
Disliked The wasps! At least half our party was stung (4 families) plus 2 pets were stung. If it wasn't for the wasps the weekend would have been a solid 10/10

From the manager: Hi, Glad you enjoyed it sorry about the wasps ! Apparently they are really bad everywhere this year due to it being so dry and hot early in the season, cant win can we !! Hope to see you again
