Понравилось Great views and lovely walks on the downs from the site. Toilet facilities were adequate. Spacious grassy pitches.

Не понравилось No rubbish disposal or recycling facilities which is very inconvenient. Considering the price charged for the pitch this should be a given.

От менеджера: thank you for your review. sorry that you was unhappy about taking your rubbish home, but most of our regulars would rather take their rubbish home than pay even higher prices for their pitch, it doesn't smell if you tie it up well in plastic bags.

Понравилось The open field where there was plenty of space. The shop which was well stocked with handy opening hours. All the facilities you need. Great walks from the site.

Не понравилось The main camping area was a little packed for us so although that’s what we booked we were able to move to the open field which was much nicer.

Понравилось Clearly marked out pitches surrounded by hedges and some with fire pits and picnic benches. Lovely views and nice walks from the site. Free WiFi.

Не понравилось Some pitches are better than others. They charge an extra £2 for each dog - why?

Понравилось Quiet flat field with good facilities and secure gated entrance

Не понравилось Had to check in by 5pm although it did say arrangements could be made for late arrivals.

Понравилось Spectacular views and an easy 1 mile walk into Castleton village.

Не понравилось Hard to find a level spot. Very busy with tents and one pitched up within a metre of our van despite plenty of space down the middle of the field. It was also noisy after midnight but assume this is rare. Toilets not adequate for the number of tents.

Понравилось Being able to park up anywhere within the beautiful orchard and the freedom of no check in or check out time.
