Gostou The open field where there was plenty of space. The shop which was well stocked with handy opening hours. All the facilities you need. Great walks from the site.

Não gostou The main camping area was a little packed for us so although that’s what we booked we were able to move to the open field which was much nicer.

Gostou Clearly marked out pitches surrounded by hedges and some with fire pits and picnic benches. Lovely views and nice walks from the site. Free WiFi.

Não gostou Some pitches are better than others. They charge an extra £2 for each dog - why?

Gostou Spectacular views and an easy 1 mile walk into Castleton village.

Não gostou Hard to find a level spot. Very busy with tents and one pitched up within a metre of our van despite plenty of space down the middle of the field. It was also noisy after midnight but assume this is rare. Toilets not adequate for the number of tents.

Gostou Being able to park up anywhere within the beautiful orchard and the freedom of no check in or check out time.
