Понравилось Good size pitches, great location for Wollacombe beach, generally clean toilets and showers facilities. Able to move to an electric hook up for second night upon arrival, very accommodating.

Не понравилось Pitch numbers difficult to see if you arrive in the evening /dark but once you see it in day light, really simple

Понравилось Almost everything. Really can’t complain about anything for £20 a night. On arrival we followed the sign which told us which pitch was ours.
Pitches were a really good size with plenty of space in front. The site was a nice size.
Location was good, pretty central to all the main sights.
Toilet block was fine. Just remember to take a towel to dry your hands as there is no hand dryer or paper towels. Showers were ok, hot enough. 3 toilets and 3 showers in each.
Had a lovely few days despite the showers.
Didn’t meet the owners so can’t comment

Easy distance to explore the area by car
Really helpful staff

Не понравилось I had a 10 metre extension for electric which is what is advised. It wasn't long enough. After another pitch decided to unplug our things I spoke to the site staff who said they do have longer ones for hire.
My issue was resolved really quickly this morning though.

Понравилось The pitch it self was lovely, big well laid out. Toilets and showers were clean and worked.

Не понравилось It was not very friendly, we did not see the hosts at all. Check in was done by a board, we couldn't freeze our ice packs as there was no one around to ask. We left early as it was not enjoyable, other sites have made us feel a lot more comfortable and welcoming we will be going back there instead.

We use the whiteboard as most staying with us find this an easy and convenient for their check in. We do understand this may not suit everyone but find on the whole people prefer this approach as means people are not waiting for us as we run the campsite alongside our farming business.
We would have been more than happy to freeze your ice blocks, we are contactable 24/7 via the phone number on the campsite board and booking form.

Понравилось Location was perfect for where we wanted to visit.
Good sized pitches and ideal for us both and our 2 dogs.

Понравилось Its flat and the facilities are clean. If you're using a vehicle daily and NOT the bus then its very conveniently located.

Не понравилось The bus stop may only be 3 min walk away but it is a very busy road with absolutely no verge to walk on. We actually had people beeping at us and gesturing that we shouldn't be walking. The bus didn't stop at the entrance despite me asking the driver. They seemed to stop at lots of other site entrances on the Mortehoe road.

There is also a lot of road noise, when we were there the owners had allocated everyone pitches along the road and almost no one on the far side.
The pitches weren't large as suggested by the info, we could hear every word said in the tent next door.

The bus stop is accessible via a footpath off the campsite lane. We will ensure that this is advertise more clearly in the future if we are not available to ask.
In regard to the pitch allocation, we will consider this going forward and look at allocating the opposite side.
