Helton Campsite

Понравилось: Beautiful field well cut and level with views for miles. Good toilets and wonderful cold shower. Great access to walks with wild swims and high fells. Easy drives further afield. Good for stop between Bristol and Scotland. Very responsive to query re booking.

Понравилось: Great open space with stunning views over the surrounding hills. Good on site toilet and shower facilities. Clean campsite. Friendly and helpful staff.

Не понравилось: Location is quite far from many of the main Lakes attractions.

Понравилось: The campsite was as described; laid back, allowed singles, groups families and dogs. Brilliant space for children to play. The dogs on site were well behaved. It was basically a just a field.

Не понравилось: The site was also described as simple: This is an understatement. One very cold shower, three toilets and one hand basin.... all situated in rough wood structures...

Понравилось: Really good location with lots of space. Ideal for larger groups of people. Nice and clean facilities to use as well. The owner was really welcoming and friendly

От менеджера: Thanks for your comments. We are a basic campsite that is understood, as for the sign we have one in place now as you were the first guest of 2024 so we have to open and set up on the same day so we may of not had the sign up. thanks for the comment.

Понравилось: Great pop up site, plenty of space and toilet and shower blocks were clean and well maintained. The views around the surrounding areas from the site are amazing and if you get a clear night, the stars are incredible.

Не понравилось: Grass was a little long but not really a huge issue.

Понравилось: - remote peaceful area with amazing scenery - easy to find - amazing toilets very well maintained and clean with toilet roll and shower - minimal fuss, no interference - extremely quiet excellent nights sleep - loved the minimal service, made us all interact more - great scenery and most beautiful sky I’ve ever seen at night

Понравилось: It was a lovely campsite- great for star gazing and we got firewood and had a lovely fire. There were a group of young people (who were very lovely and friendly) but they were passing music loudly from around 3pm to 11pm which was a little irritating. Aside from that, all good.

Понравилось: There was a group of 12 of us mixed females and males.. we liked how chilled the site was the owners came round to check we was ok and if we needed anything , they brought us logs and a bucket for the fire and were very helpful if we needed anything . The toilets are kept clean with toilet roll , there is a shower which is cold but as it was a hot weekend we didn’t mind , there is a sink with hand sanitizer and cold running water which was perfect to fill our bottled up with and brush our teeth. The views were breath taking , the site is just a field with toilets but that’s what we wanted as there was 12 of us who were there for a good time having a few drinks we didn’t want a site that was going to be strict . We kept the noise down when it went dark.. The lake is a 20 min drive from site here you can go paddle boarding and cold water swimming ullwater lake is a definite must when the weather is nice Thank you so much for this perfect get away we also needed jump leads , I rang William and he sent somebody 9am Sunday morning to come help start the car . He didn’t charge us or seem like it was an issue thank you for going out your way to do this

Не понравилось: The grass was abit long and we lost our rounders ball 😂 but really wasn’t an issue
