Понравилось Booked on the day, arrived met with a lady who told us where we could park, very easy. Pleasant night, facilities perfect what we needed, had a walk round with our dogs, spent time petting the beautiful donkeys, would come back when passing area again, thankyou hope to see what you do in the future

Понравилось Wow. What a great spot. It’s got history, great views, a lovely play area, great facilities and run by an awesome couple. We felt very at home and will be returning.

Не понравилось Nothing! It might be worth noting that the site is a work in progress, so somethings are evolving, but it all added to the interest of this old army base.

Понравилось Such a nice site and the owners were so friendly. The owner helped us out by lending us some Allen keys when we had a problem with our roof tent and was happy to chat! Felt safe and close to other amenities.

Понравилось we stayed here for 2 nights over the bank holiday weekend during the heavy rain and thunder! dispite this we managed to visit some great places including thors cave and the dovedale stepping stones
louis and diana were very welcoming and helped us to our pitch, the site is small/child friendly/clean and very well equipt for familys and theres a well stocked farm shop just across the road
our son didnt get to use the pool because of the weather but thats just typical of our luck just latley 😱
overall a great little site to which we will definitley be returning, hopefully in a heatwave 🌞

Понравилось Great little campsite, brilliant facilities, perfect for families with small children. In a really beautiful location too, we wandered down to the milk barn and a local pub, both really close by and stunning scenery all around. Also a short drive to the Peak Wildlife Park which is well worth a visit.

We weren’t able to pitch our awning but this wasn’t really an issue as the weather was nice, we’d also seen another review about the pitches having concrete bases so we did know to expect this.

Понравилось Home from home site absolutely perfect for families our daughter loved it!!! They even had a bouncy castle up on the Saturday night! She was obsessed with the donkey and park was fab also the little pool was a huge hit, the site is great we could relax by the tent and she could be off playing and we could still see her it’s a fantastic size site. Very relaxed and lovely environment, there’s a farm shop up the road that do fab milkshakes. The pitch was perfect for our roof tent really nice size! Toliets clean with nice showers! Drinking water and washing up facilities all good!

Lovely little site would definitely return!!

Не понравилось Nothing it was brilliant only thing I would say is they could do with a little onsite shop with basics and could even sell bags of food for the donkeys 🫏

Понравилось ​We had a brilliant time staying at Anzio Heights Campsite. The site itself is lovely and well maintained. The toilet and shower setup was spotlessly clean and very practical, and the washing-up facilities made camp chores quick and easy.
​What really set this place apart was the hospitality. The hosts were incredibly helpful, personable, and friendly throughout our stay. They even went out of their way to help us sort out an issue with our leisure battery, which was a absolute lifesaver!

​You couldn't ask for better hosts or a nicer spot. We’ll definitely be back next time

Понравилось Had a lovely weekend I would highly recommend the owners are lovely the campsite is worth the money I was happy cause it was nice to get the kids of there computers my son loved the donkeys/ feeding them carrots he is still asking to get a donkey 🤣 very clean and tidy there are 2 toilets/ showers on site there are lovely walks near by small park and paddling pool for the children to use on site
