Halfway House Inn

Понравилось Quiet. Adult only. Nice family run pub. Vegan food on request.

Не понравилось Pitches are quite small. Noise at night from dogs on the neighbours farm (sounded like the Hounds of the Baskervilles)

Понравилось Only 1 shower cubicle but was clean

Не понравилось Pitch was very small and not marked out, there is no clear spacing and no privacy between pitches. Entrance to site is narrow there are 2 entrances but the sign for our entrance was in an open gate on the car park, no clear signage on the road so not great if you go to the wrong entrance. Didn't feel.the pub was comfortable for outsiders, felt it's very much a locals pub, we wnt once first a couple of drinks, didn't feel comfortable enough to go again. We stayed on site for 3 nights.
Did not see any member of staff apart from the lady behind the bar for the hour we stayed in the pub.
Zero wifi and zero phone signal.

Понравилось Pub and food.

Не понравилось Pack of hounds howling at night especially from midnight to 7am. Toilets not very clean, no hot water in taps, no toilet paper on one occasion, hand drier in mens not working on two occasions and not at all in disabled.

A lot of sites use a toilet pan built in to the sewer
Saving lifting the cover and
This also reduces smell
Hose built in to wash waste away

Понравилось The friendly welcome, the gorgeous 16th century pub, the beer and excellent food, the level site, the tap at every pitch, two Elsan points, nice clean shower block and loo ( you can also use the pub loo 24/7) the quiet location.Just perfect.

Не понравилось Leaving.After 24 years of camping we have found the perfect site.We will be back very soon.

Понравилось Shower and bathroom were really clean. We all had our own separate taps on our plots with our number. Everyone very friendly.

Не понравилось Did not get much sleep at night got woke up for five times with dogs, howling and barking at the farm Next Door
