Gostou Very warm welcome and the facilities are great. Beautiful area and site. Also the sauna and pool are both open until 6 pm which was a bonus

Gostou This was our second visit to Middle Corscombe Farm, and it was brilliant. The barn with dining area and sofas is a lovely place to gather, especially in rainy weather. The kids loved exploring the woodland, and we enjoyed the pool table and swimming pool. A friendly and beautiful campsite.

Gostou We just had a fantastic stay. Felt like we had the whole campfield to ourselves. We brought our 3 boys and enjoyed the shade of the woodland as well as the barn.
The additional crockery and small fridge were a definate bonus asour tent was in full Summer sun most of the day. Friendly owners and very clean facilities.
Swimming pool much appreciated by all. Dartmoor adventures within easy reach and great location that felt far away from it all but was close to Okehampton, supermarkets etc.

My kids 5 and 10 enjoyed the treats from the honesty shop by the pool and the fact they could safely explore by themselves.

Gostou Fantastic site and friendly owners! One of the best campsites we’ve been to (and we’ve been to so many!). Great facilities, great pitches, we even stayed an extra night because it was so good! The toilet and shower facilities are 10/10 too, and that’s a rarity at a campsite!

Gostou We stayed in the meadow which was a beautiful pitch shaded by trees. The campsite owners were friendly and helpful. The showers were good and the toilet facilities always clean. We enjoyed a swim in the pool and the barn was an amazing extra facility. This is the best campsite I have stayed in!

Gostou Good and new facilities. We arrived on a very wet day and they have a large covered facility where you can eat, relax and get dry - a real life saver for us.

Não gostou Not much - you walk in to your site which is ok but there were not many flat spots for tents - we had the prime one but if crowded that may be a bit of a problem.

Do gestor: Many thanks for your feedback, there’s no need to worry about getting crowded we are quite exclusive with only 5 pitches available which are all flat, similar to the one you chose.

Gostou We had an unexpectedly short stay here due to illness, we could sadly only stay one night. Because of this, we didn't get to explore the whole site.
The friendly host was in contact with me in advance of our stay to say there was availability for an earlier check in and a choice of pitches which was lovely. He was on site to greet us at our agreed time and showed us around, and offered to help us get our equipment to our chosen pitch using his landrover. There were also wheelbarrows available to assist.

We chose a central pitch near the barn which was fantastic. All the pitches were mowed short, with long grass in between and there was a lot of wildlife thriving.

There were walks around the site and down to the nearby stream, but unfortunately we could not make use of these due to illness.

We did use the communal barn for hanging out on the sofas, listening to music (CDs and Books were provided) and playing on the games table. The barn was open to the elements, but did have some pull down covers (made of vintage tents!) for additional shelter if the weather got bad. There was a kitchen in there with wood fired stove, dining table, cutlery and crockery, pots and pans plus small fridge and freezer compartment. Note, the stove is not lit, you need to buy wood from the site to fuel this if required. We had paid for a fire pit, and this was ready for us on arrival with cooking tripod, wood, matches and firelighters.

We spotted a picnic area with benches in amongst some shady trees.

There were seperate men's and ladies toilets, each with two cubicles and one shower. They were well cleaned and maintained.

Outside was a nice sunny decking area, a washing up station and waste sorting area.

Swimming pool were on site, but not open at the time of year we visited (April).

No electricity or gas which is lovely unless you have wet wood and need to make a hot drink!

Road noise from A30 was loud even at night, and woke us up early when traffic started to build up, about 6am (but this does mean the site is easy to access, only 5 mons from the main road...)

Pitches were flat, but paths between were sloping, so not ideal of you have any mobility issues. There may have been flat areas for games of football/Frisbee etc elsewhere where we dod not have tome to explore, but do check ahead if this is important to you!

Do gestor: Many thanks for your comprehensive review and sorry you had to cut short your stay.

In terms of your feedback on toilet facilities we have 4 toilets and 2 showers for 5 camping pitches which is more than adequate and is probably class leading in terms of units per guest so this will never get short at busy times.

I’m not sure what your issue is with no electricity or gas? Surely when you are camping you bring your own gas for cooking and we are quite clear we do not have electric hook up facilities. There is however a device charging facility and a wood burning Aga for cooking in the barn for guests to use.
