Gostou - beautiful site, very quiet and lovely scenery.
- good facilities, clean and tidy.
- we had the whole site to ourselves on the first night which was lovely and so so quiet.
- the addition of little huts to sit in and play games is a really nice touch.
- donkeys and other farmyard animals on site so great for kids.
- dog friendly which is always a win to us.
- really lovely, friendly and kind greeting. Helpful owners.
- little cafe on site which wasn’t open when we were there but also convenient when it is open.
- great location to get to lizard.

Não gostou - only dislike is the lane to get to and from the site. We travelled with a VW camper and there were overgrown bushes which scratched the side of the van. Not the campsites fault but something to bear in mind when considering if you have a van/bigger car.

Gostou Amazing site, owner was so friendly and helpful. We had the whole site to our selves and we very much enjoyed our night away.

The donkeys were beautiful, the site was well maintained.

The cafe gets busy so if you like to be secluded park further away from the loo’s

No WiFi (I don’t think, I didn’t check) which is perfect the world can leave you alone and you can do what’s important; enjoying nature.

No hookup for people that require it but we don’t as we are set up for off grid.

Dog friendly; bring a spike and long lead for your pet

Your allowed a fire!!! Bring something to do it in as there isn’t anything to have a ground fire on, also bring your own fuel.

100% would recommend

Não gostou The lane to the site from Redruth or Helston side will leave a van (transit/transporter size or larger) with some very stylish Cornish Tribal Tattoos so be aware if your precious about your paint work this might not be the site for you. This isn’t an issue to me but others may find this useful.

Gostou Fantastic facilities, clean and tidy, and friendly family site.

The sheep and donkeys on site were well kept.

Charging points for phones and even charged my wifes disability scooter available.

Fridge and freezers avaliable at reception area along with board games, books etc.

Toilets, shower and washing up facilities.

Gostou Clean toilets, friendly staff and nice on-site cafe.

Não gostou Approach to site is very narrow and the entrance is chllenging, the site is very exposed and sloped. The price does not reflect the facilities and is expensive for a basic site.

Do gestor: So Sorry you feel our pricing is too much for a basic site, however compared to other campsites we believe we are fairly priced. (Our pricing structure has not changed since covid). We are very open that our campsite has basic facilities.

The website indicates a tight entrance and gives instruction on the best way in from the main roads.

Gostou Facilities were great! Nice and tidy and clean. Covered outdoor seating areas. Peaceful location.

Gostou The cafe is open from Thursday to sunday and serves really lovely food

Gostou I liked just about everything. The toilets were spotless. It was quiet and peaceful. Excellent location for those wanting a central base from which to explore the Lizard peninsula by bus. Their café was superb. Dawn and her hubby were incredibly helpful. Sheltered seating with tables in both the cafe and 2 open-fronted buildings meant that I could relax on site without having to sit in my little tent waiting for the sun to come back out! Lots of books, board games and children's toys available. A muti-socket electric power point for charging phones, etc in reception. Good thick hedges provide shelter from possible storms for tents, and the site was pretty level on very well draining, well mown grass covered, soil. And their donkeys and sheep were rescued animals and they all looked very happy in their new home.
They may or may not have WiFi near reception but I didn't ask; there was nothing at the far end of the field - but network reception was excellent. I saw a washing machine in reception but didn't use it - couldn't see how I might dry my clothes, etc, but I didn't ask. If I feel brave enough I think I was told they are open the whole year round with the exception of two weeks at Christmas, but I might have dreamt that! Overall I was made to feel like I was a very important and valued camper :-)

Não gostou Café is only open from Thursday to Sunday whilst I was there at the start of September - but well worth the long wait from the Monday I arrived!
Very narrow lane for access - though luckily not a problem for me as I didn't have a car and every vehicle I encountered was conscientious and didn't try to run me down!
Not for people who want lots of fancy facilities - no swimming pool, tennis courts, or bar on site - what they do have though is excellent :-)
