Gostou Beautiful site , spotlessly clean and lovely little touches from the very friendly owner Dawn . Fantastic views , great location and exactly what we needed. Unfortunately we ran out of time to use the cafe but the food looked delicious. Price for the campsite was really reasonable too. My daughter and I definitely will want to return

Não gostou Nothing , just a note if you are towing (we wasn’t) check the map carefully and head off the Falmouth to Helston road rather than any other way.

Não gostou Tatty, rubbish all over the place , random paddling pools with filthy water in around , difficult to find water tap, you have to pay £5 to empty toilet and take your own rubbish home , shower shed thing was absolutely filthy.

Do gestor: Hello young couple , so glad you aren’t coming again as you obviously want Ritz for bargain price! We give a really good pitch for a very budget price of £10 per night ! Yes it costs us to have your waste taken away so why should you pay nothing? It quite clearly states on pitchup that you should take away your own rubbish so again - why should we pay to take away your rubbish for £10 per night? Repeat repeat repeat why do we have to keep repeating??? Take your rubbish with you! Oh and shower is cleaned daily - you obvs have time as you idly spout nastiness on here - why didn’t you clean up after yourself???

Gostou Pool was warm but a bit grubby, lovely location , free crazy golf

Gostou We stayed for 5 nights here booking through pitchup.com, The site is very easy to find as it is well sign posted and only a few km off the autoroute. It’s a large site with a relaxed feel about the pitching areas, we chose a shady spot due to the heat. The facilities are kept very clean, the showers are hot and we never had to queue for them. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but did get a takeaway pizza from there which was really nice. The on-site pool is nice and big, not particularly warm but my kids didn’t mind. The staff here are really friendly, the guy in charge of the pool was really helpful. There is a small play area for the kids, tennis courts, basketball, and crazy golf and also a room for older kids to hang out in. There is a continente supermarket in the town which is about a 25 minute walk away or a smaller one about 5 minutes away, there is a really nice beach is about 5 minutes from the site entrance (beware of the strong currents on this coastline). The bus stops right outside the entrance and runs quite regularly, it goes into Porto, it takes over an hour but it’s easier than driving. It also only costs €1.60 each way, if you want to stay later in Porto you can get a taxi back easily enough, we got an Uber that cost €19 and took about 25 minutes. Porto is a must visit and is one of our favourite cities we have ever visited. This is certainly a site we would use again when we come back to Portugal , and would also make a good stop off point for a few days if heading north or south.
