If you like to be surrounded by stunning natural views, then family-run Horton View Farm is the place for you. Five minutes’ drive away from the Kent villages of Stowting and Brabourne, this adults-only site is set on a quiet lane with views across to the hills and valleys of the Kent Downs National Landscape. There are scenic walks from the gate of the camping meadow, as well as spectacular sunrises and sunsets and dark skies filled with shimmering stars on clear nights. Approached by neatly mown paths through the wild meadow, each tent has its own firepit, and logs are available to purchase from the site. It’s mostly off-grid (so bring your own torches), but it does have flushing toilets and hot showers, a fridge and a freezer for guests to use, and an open barn with a social area where you can relax and take in the stunning landscape. A vineyard, several pubs and a fishing lake are within half an hour’s walk of the site along quiet lanes and footpaths, so leave the car behind if you choose. The very nearest pub is just five minutes’ stroll away, and if good local produce is your thing, there are exceptional farm shops, bakeries and farmers’ markets throughout the area.

Gostou Very welcoming & friendly, with a welcome walk around the site.
Immensely clean and tidy facilities - we had free apples / plums locally picked.
Quiet / peaceful ambiance & superb views.

Não gostou Only one toilet & a separate urinal. If this campsite is full, there will be queues ….

Do gestor: Thank you for your lovely review Sarah, we’re so pleased you found the site peaceful and enjoyed our great views. Just to clarify, we do have two flushing toilets in our facilities block (one with a shower and one on its own), plus the urinal and an additional shower.

We are a tiny site and rest assured, we have a strict limit on the number of people on site at any one time to avoid overcrowding.

Gostou We had the most incredible three-night stay at Horton View Farm in our TentBox, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better campsite.

The site was absolutely spotless and beautifully maintained. The facilities were clean, modern and completely on point — everything you could want for a comfortable camping stay.

The owners were so friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful. They were full of great advice about the local area, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

And the location… just beautiful. Peaceful, gorgeous surroundings and some absolutely amazing sunsets. It was the perfect place to switch off, relax and enjoy being outdoors.

We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be returning. A real gem of a campsite and one we’d happily recommend to anyone looking for a lovely, well-kept and welcoming place to stay. ❤️⛺️🌅

Gostou Wow wow wow! We absolutely loved our 2 night stay here this weekend. The whole site is incredibly thought through. The barn offers a fridge & freezer as well as a charging point and benches which can be used if you forget your camp chairs like we did!
The showers and toilet cubicles are lovely - so clean and plenty of hooks to hang things. Usually we come home from a camping trip desperate for a decent shower but not this time.
The owners were so welcoming and we were able to purchase logs.
The campsite is also in a great location with walks on your door and beautiful sunsets. We went to Hythe which is only a 15 minute drive and had a lovely beach day. We will 100% revisit.

Gostou Fantastic location. Nice and quiet which is what we wanted. Jo and Dave were really accommodating and you could tell they had a passion for what they do. The place was very clean. Really open space in front of pitches. Beautiful sunsets….
Pitches were a bit close together. But can’t be helped…
Had a fridge, a plug to charge phones and a kettle which I used… Would definitely return.

Gostou We just got home from an amazing few days here. Dave and Jo were both friendly and accommodating. The views were stunning, it was so relaxing listening to the sound of sheep and birds. The toilets and showers were so incredibly clean. The site felt spacious and safe. The sunset of an evening was lovely. We visited Hythe beach around 15 minutes away and the Tiger Inn (also loved it here) a few minutes drive away. We are already looking to book for next year!

Gostou Everything! Peaceful, beautiful, really well maintained and a great host. Lovely part of the country and three pubs within walking distance - what's not to like!

Não gostou Only wish we could have stayed longer. Slightly tricky entrance might cause problems for larger vans but ours is a tiddler.
