Gostou Lovely site! Great pitch! Facilities were brilliant! Claire the lady who runs the site was lovely! Had a great time and my daughter absolutely loved it!

Gostou Claire the host was very welcoming and my pitch was clearly marked. The site and facilities are very clean with recycling positively promoted, and the chickens and horses add a lovely touch.

The location is quiet but has easy access to Malpas. I would definitely visit again.

Do gestor: Thank you for your great review Andy. I'm really glad you mentioned re cycling. I am red hot on this, Cheshire is in the top three counties in Britain for the amount of re cycled refuse. Our refuse collectors are very strict, rightly so. Vurtually every day I still have to fish incorrect rubbish out of my bins which is a very unpleasant task. Every one of my bins is colour coded and have written instructions on the bin lids and on the walls over the bins. I thank the majority of campers who make the effort to re cycle but there are still those who are too lazy. I do often see young children being sent to the bins and I would urge campers not to allow this,as young children probably don't read the instructions.

£1 for a 8 minute shower which we was more than happy to pay, it stopped people spending too much time in there.

Allows barbecue which there is a range of that you can use.
Fresh eggs where delicious
Owners are lovely and happy to help, they even offered me an electric hook up as I didn’t have my lead.

Gostou Just arrived back from my second trip to larkhill cottage campsite, it’s beautiful and tranquil and very well maintained, the surrounding area is very scenic, it’s the perfect getaway for relaxing

Gostou It was an amazing campsite, my girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay even if we only stayed one night.

We had no issues at all, the directions given by Claire were clear and easy to follow and everything at the site is well signed so all is clear. We will definitely be coming back and probably for a longer stay.

The weather was a bit all over the place during our stay but Claire still came out to make sure everything was okay and she was so friendly and was willing to help with any issues.

The facilities were spotless so there isnt anything to complain about.

The signal is very hit and miss but there wasn't much need to use technology anyway.

Nice farm animals on site

Não gostou Facilities lacking, only 2 toilets and 1 shower (on a £1 per use meter). Also the lock on the shower room don't really work.

Do gestor: I'm sorry you found the latch on shower door didn't work. I. Must admit. I don't understand why as it's only a hook and eye. Latch. I will go and check it. I am very fussy on cleanliness so am surprised you didn't give 10/10. Nevertheless, thank you for your more positive comments.

Gostou Was brilliant, sign for the pitch on arrival. Friendly host. Good camp facilities. Good indoor space for campers to cook / make tea coffee. Nice animals. Peaceful.

Do gestor: Thank you for your review. I'm sorry but I have to charge for the shower to stop people from monopolising. My prices are very reasonable. For pitches without electric I provide hot water all day in a free kitchen with another toilet. Therefore my site is extremely good value for money as many sites do not provide a kitchen. Nevertheless, I am pleased you enjoyed your stay and you would recommend.

Gostou Enjoyed are stay friendly atmosphere and animal friendly, i like were are tent was pitched in would be happy with that spot again

Gostou We weren't able to get to the site until 9pm, Claire was still there waiting to greet us.
Lovely small campsite
Horses, Hens and cats for the kids to see
Facilities were clean, plenty of space in the fridges and freezer to store things as well as two microwaves and Kettle in the kitchen.

Não gostou flys were a mare on setting up - but thats what you get when you try set up in the dark and you have a head torch on!!
The locks to the toilets were a little tempromental
There was no phone or internet signal on site until half a mile down the road at the crossroads.

Do gestor: Thank you for your review. I'm sorry the lock on the toilet behind kitchen was stiff I didn't Realise, I will put some wd40 on it. The phone signal in the whole area is very hit and miss. Some days I have no signal at all in my house. I've been on and on to Fleur telecom ever since I've lived here, thirty one years, and they say there's nothing they can do to improve the service which is a pretty poor show on this day and age!
