Não gostou: Upon booking the two pitches, I specifically requested that they be next to each other, as both bookings were made under my name. I even called the holiday park before our arrival to confirm this request and was assured it would be noted. However, when we arrived, we were allocated pitches that were not next to each other.

We spoke to several staff members at reception in an attempt to resolve the issue, but we were repeatedly told that nothing could be done because the park was fully booked. To add to the confusion, my brother was told that if we wanted adjacent pitches, we should have paid an additional £25 at the time of booking—something that was never mentioned in any previous communication.

What made the situation even more frustrating was that the pitches directly in front of ours remained vacant for the entirety of our stay. This gave the impression that our request could have been accommodated but was simply overlooked.

Overall, this experience was disappointing and did not meet our expectations, especially after we made every effort to communicate our needs in advance.

Não gostou: No hot water in female shower block on first day although I reported this at 6pm I then reported again next day and finally resolved soon after Very annoying!!
Shower block very outdated
Very poor cleaning of toilet / shower blocks .Dirty tissues clumps of hair dead moths in ladies shower when we arrived until nearly 24 hours later Even then toilets were dirty Floors not swept or cleaned !!
Bottles and rubbish under hedges on grass pitches
We are regular tourers in our Campervan and visit many different camps and this has got to be the worst from our experience

Gostou: Facilities - excellent swimming pool, good arcade, varied activities available and lots of food & drink options onsite.

Não gostou: Toilets were not very clean, showers are randomly installed at a height of approx 5ft 4" from the floor so it is really difficult to wash your hair unless you stoop down. Site was very busy, noisy and on our 4 night stay, we saw the Police had been called to the site twice! Security on the gate was so tight that we almost couldn't get back in after a quick trip to the supermarket!
