Where to start when listing the many options on offer at the family-friendly park with top facilities and free five-star entertainment that is Vauxhall Holiday Park? Brekkie first, possibly; a full English at the Reedcutters Restaurant to start the day off, then a trip to Pinkies Salon or to the sauna for some pampering while the other half sorts the kids out… there are Arty Kidz clubs every afternoon, an under-fives activity club and Louie’s Adventure Playground, plus a soft play area, Highway 66 mini bowling, adventure golf, King Louie’s Goldmine… Older kids are well catered for too with the Hideout Club (for 12- to 16-year-olds) offering DJ lessons, jewellery making, pool parties and more. Once it’s been at least an hour after a meal (like your mum told you), time for swimming: Vauxhall Holiday Park has a Tropical Waterworld and Splash Zone with indoor and outdoor pools, waterslides, rapids, kids’ pool and sunbathing terraces to flop onto afterwards. Or take the crew to the indoor or outdoor sports areas with climbing walls, gym and games room. More food? Why not: alongside the Reedcutters Restaurant (which serves up lunch, dinner and snacks as well as breakfast), Vauxhall Holiday Park has takeaway outlets to bag pizza, burgers, kebabs, fried chicken and local shellfish (not all at once), or you could pick a panini or sarnie while you surf the net on the free wifi at Ted’s Coffee Shop. For entertainment, there’s cabaret, comedy, live music and shows every day of the week, with evening dancing, competitions, cabaret and shows in the Regency Room, and floor shows for the sophisticated in the over-18s V-Lounge with adjoining conservatory.

A top spot for families, with heaps of fun for kids! Great entertainment, pool and staff. Campsites are usually good. Some found the loos a bit grubby, and a few bits needed a spruce up. A bit noisy for some.

Liked We really enjoyed our stay here, when we arrived the pitch was easy to find, clean site. Had everything we needed. Showers were mostly clean. Entertainment was good too.

Disliked Expensive site when there, have to book activities in advance so couldn’t go swimming. Paid £30 to attend a pool party which was 30 min.

Liked Found staff friendly and helpful, a short bus ride that picks up and drops off from vauxhall to great yarmouth sea frount ( bus drivers are fantastic so convienent for local attractions.

Disliked The toilet/shower and cleaning facilities are probably the worst I have ever encountered the toilets were always dirty due to poor flushing systems, pot washing facilities are in toilet blocks (i find this extremely unhygienic) not to mention had to fill washing up bowl with water in what can only be described as a child's size shower as there was no water pressure in the push tap sinks! Staff reported the problem but remained the same all week.

Will not stay again, absolutely disappointed with the cleanliness.

Liked Games bar was great, didn’t get to try pool out as no available slots as booked late but looked nice, easy walk to Great Yarmouth too!

Disliked Booked pitch on pitchup a more expensive one as wanted to be out of way but when arrived at Vauxhall to be informed what ever price u pay on pitch up doesn’t mean u get that pitch and also i showed our conformation email said thats pitch we booked to be told its not even a picture of vauxhall park .. I ended up paying £17 extra for a quiet pitch for weekend not impressed as it’s what we originally booked . Don’t think we will be visiting again

Liked Pitch was well maintained and lots of space and electrical hook up right on pitch. Toilets and shower facilities was clean and always working. shower was a little hot for me (but I don’t like hot showers/baths) but rather that than cold showers to be fair. Pot washing facilities in toilet/shower block as well and clean. Fresh water taps dotted about so not much of a walk back to pitch. Restaurant and other food places was fair priced and good food on offer. Evening entertainment was varied and suitable for all. Bus stop right outside holiday park and every half hour so was easy to pop into town when needed.

Disliked On site pizza place was not impressive, we got 2 pizza and was only a few min walk back to our pitch. By the time we got back it was cold and tough, flavourless and as dry as a sandal! So another night ordered from a local pizza place and was so much better

Disliked As a wheelchair user I found the site far below where it should be in this day and age. I mislaid my Radar key so went to reception to ask if they had a spare I could I asked if they had a Radar key. I could not not enter reception as there is a small step, and they do not have a ramp, there is a disabled parking space right outside but no access for a wheelchair user? My husband went in and asked them to come and speak to me outside, when I asked why there was no access for a wheelchair user the woman said she didn't know but would pass on my feedback! I asked if they had a Radar key I could borrow/purchase. Although there disabled toilet needs a Radar key they do not have one! What if someone using it needed assistance and pulled the emergency cord, how would they assist them? She didn't know, but will pass on my feedback. Surely, I am not the only disabled person who has raised these subjects?? We definitely will not book here again.

Start off with the Pleasure Beach and racecourse of this seaside town, browse around its market or take the kids to nearby adventure park BeWILDerwood for a bedazzling day out among the zipwires and Crocklebogs. As well as the Broads, Norfolk has loads to see and do, whatever floats your boat: classic golf courses, more seaside towns at Cromer and Hunstanton, historical pads like Blickling Hall and the royal residence of Sandringham, and the Nelson Museum and award-winning Time & Tide Museum, both at Great Yarmouth. For steam fans, there's a pick of four heritage railways to sightsee while sitting, including the 18-mile Bure Valley route through the Broads and the longest heritage railway in East Anglia, the Mid-Norfolk Railway. Birdwatchers can get their beaks into several RSPB and nature reserves all around: start off at the oldest Norfolk Wildlife Trust reserve in the county, Cley Marshes, then take a trip to the biggest at Hickling Broad. Head south to Suffolk for the seaside town and beach huts of Southwold, the Suffolk Heritage Coast and Anglo-Saxon burial at Sutton Hoo, or into Essex for the historic town of Colchester, Epping Forest and another seaside resort at Southend-on-Sea.
