Gostou: Fantastic campsite!!
The site is super pretty, we really enjoyed watching the sunset each night round the fire pit! There is so much wild life on site, including deers and lots of birds! The pitches are very big and spacious and the site is not over crowded and was very quiet all weekend. Kelly the host was really friendly and on hand really quickly for any questions.
Theres some great local walks which our host told us about, and there's a cute information shed on site with lots of local information. You can tell the hosts really care about the site and doing a great job.
We really enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again! Many thanks for having us!

Não gostou: The only small thing is the showers flooded quite a lot and the shower goes cold if you don't keep the button pressed in which gives you a bit of a shock. However the host has provided instructions on how to use the showers and provided a mop and a drying mat to stand on so they have tried to rectify the issues as best they can. The facilities were very clean and always stocked up with everything you needed, and I liked the camping wall hangings in the bathroom, was a nice touch.

Regarding the showers, I just wanted to explain that the boiler is a direct feed for hot water, so it’s important to keep the shower button pressed throughout – if it’s released, the boiler stops producing hot water, which can cause the temperature to fluctuate.

As for the bathroom floor, I completely understand your frustration. It is a design issue we’re aware of, and while I would love to redesign the facilities in the future, as a new business it's not something I can do just yet. Over the bank holiday, I was checking in and mopping up at least five times a day, as well as topping up toilet rolls, to keep things as comfortable as possible for everyone.

Gostou: I had an amazing time at West End Farm. The facilities where the cleanest I have ever seen and you could tell the whole site was well looked after. The pay as you go electric is always my preferred way to camp (if I am using electric) as I never really use that much (I used 20p over 3 days!). Kelly and Nick made me feel safe and welcome and were always on hand if I needed anything, but at the same time I didn't feel like they were hovering. Having a covered area to wash up was welcomed and at a good height with unlimited running hot water. The toilets where always stocked with soap and toilet roll. The showers had plenty of hooks and a raised board to stop you getting soggy feet after your shower. Hairdryer and mirror should you need. The muddy boot/dog wash was a nice added extra and even that was spotless! The location was perfect for a few days to rest and recharge in nature. I will be back!

Gostou: From the moment we booked the communication was excellent even the email on arrival was great, explaining everything even walk routes around the area.
Kelly met us on arrival and showed us to our pitch and got our electric up and running (pay go).
Toilet/shower/ washing up area decorated and clean to a 5 🌟 standard, also with a dog/boot wash great idea!!! The whole site is tidy and well maintained. The site is situated in a secluded area which is very quiet and tranquil a good place to reflect. The added advantage is the reasonable sized fishing lake which we thoroughly enjoyed for a couple of days catching; rudd, roach and a few varieties of carp. Fresh eggs are available from the free range chickens (locked up in there cozy homes due to bird flu at presant) . We felt like part of the family from the first day. Kelly and Nick are good hostes and very friendly.

Não gostou: The weather very wet but other than that there's nothing to dislike at all.

Gostou: What a lovely site! Nice and quiet with plenty of walks around. The amenities were perfect for myself and the dogs, and I can especially recommend the dog wash!
Kelly is on hand to answer any queries (and have a nice chat with) and is really helpful and friendly.
I will definitely come again.
