Não gostou It wasn’t glamping, it was more like being on a school trip in a shed. Every other glamping pod I’ve stayed at has had a glamorous aspect, tea, coffee, a kettle, sometimes even a small fridge and a way to cook. Empty pods had their outside lights left on all night by the cleaning crew. Our shower was used by someone else, we only left it unlocked so that we could all shower one after another without having to lock and unlock each time. As far as glamping goes we will not be returning. There was nothing to make this a better experience than camping other than there being proper beds. These should not be advertised as glamping pods, just enclosed pods or sheds with beds. Nothing glamorous to report at all. Check in was far too late considering check out time. You don’t get to spend your first day doing anything other than unpack and figure out a way to cook without a cooker, microwave and a no bbq rule.

Gostou The location, the size of the pod, individual bathrooms and washing up sinks next to the pod, accessibility to Tissington trail, the swimming pool, and the playground.

Não gostou Lack of coffee/tea facilities. The park could benefit from a decent coffee/tea facilities, or a little cafe. The truck that is on offer with food and drinks is open in limited hours and although the food was good, it was also quite limited and no vegetarian options.

Gostou Site is clean, tidy, has everything you need and great for young families! Price is good for what is there and affordable for the families it caters for!

Não gostou Non Electric Camping was on a hill, this made it a very uncomfortable & impossible stay. Whilst sleeping you was sliding in your sleeping bags, eating & drinking at a table was impossible due to the plates/cups sliding on the table.
There is no toilet/shower block for the non electric campers and you have to walk 5 minutes to the main faculties - not suitable with children especially late at night/early morning. Ended up leaving a day early. Sadly won’t be returning.

Gostou Very clean and tidy. Toilet/shower facilities good. Really good park area fir children.

Não gostou Washing up facilities not central. Quite a walk for a lot of the pitches. Dog walk good but chased by cows and no warning signs about cows. Pitch we were in was very uneven. Expected even pitch at the price we paid

Gostou Nice layout, nice little park and the pool was fairly decent. The toilets are clean and in good condition. The shop has everything you may need but is unfairly expensive.

Não gostou Pool a bit grubby and it’s not fair if you have booked a slot that other people are allowed in spoiling our allotted time.
Really hated how you put a family with a 2 year old next to the clamping pods that were fully booked up with a very large, scummy and obnoxious scouse family whose kids were running feral until 2330. And we were far away from the toilets which is not ideal with a toddler. We left the next day rather than see out our allotted time. The lack of policing and monitoring what goes on within the site spoiled what should have been a nice relaxing stay. Will go back to callow top in future.

Gostou Clean tidy site gentle walk to nearest pub , along the tissington trail
Small swimming pool free to use but must book to avoid overcrowding.
Pleasant reception and a great play space for kids

Gostou Family friendly site. Located in lovely part of Derbyshire with good local walks.
Loved the swimming pool, granddaughter especially loved the play area.
Friendly staff and well stocked shop.

Não gostou I was disappointed that we weren’t pitched near family as requested on booking and unfortunately we were in separate fields. Which meant mealtimes were bit of a challenge.
Only one washing up facility and one toilet block- which ran out of paper towels and bin was overflowing.
Not level grass pitches.

Gostou Ideal spot for the Tissington Trail, good facilities, and a mix of pitches. The pitches were slightly close together, but even when busy this was generally not a problem.

Não gostou It was the school holidays and there were lots of kids running around, and messing about, as kids do. They were pretty well-behaved, but some were rushing around the site on bikes or scooters, and not properly paying attention to other people or site traffic. The only slight nuisance were a couple of kids using the ramp leading to the shower block for skateboard practice, whilst their parents were watching and not saying anything.
