Não gostou Constant battle with flies.horrendous.please bring plenty of fly spray with you.we used one a day.and still lost the war to them.

Gostou We loved this site and enjoyed our 4 night stay in the lovely grounds. We were welcomed with friendliness and the reception team all speak wonderful English. We used the little shop, got our bread daily, and used the bar and food area once: food freshly cooked and lovely.

Showers, washing facilities all excellent.

We also took a day trip to Ils Chausey which we would definitely recommend. A beautiful island and archipelago.

We would highly recommend the site and will return

Não gostou Was given a pitch with no shade in a heat wave in France. Asked to change but told to stay for two hours and if it was still issue to come back to office. I am asthmatic and 37 is too hot for me so we left and found another site where we had shade

Gostou Our pitch was surrounded by hedges which was really nice and private. The estate was lovely and clean, even through busy times. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Just a really good vibe all round.

Gostou Nice site, excellent amenities and facilities. All very clean. Friendly staff most speak English. Good for families, but very quiet out of holiday season.

Não gostou Some grass pitches get very soggy when wet, we had to change pitch twice but staff very helpful ended up on a hard standing at no extra cost.

- Sehr viel Staub das durch den Wind aufgewirbelt wird.
- Keine Möglichkeiten um das Geschirr abzuwaschen.
- Rezeption komplett verstaubt.
- Bar oder Restaurant „was auch immer das darstellen sollte“ verstaubt und geschlossen.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience following your stay at Castel Camping Château de Lez-Eaux. We are sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations.
During your stay, it had not rained for several days. Contrary to popular belief, it does not rain that much in Normandy. Located just 4 km from the sea, the campsite can also be exposed to the wind, which can sometimes kick up dust in the paths when conditions remain very dry. We understand that this may have affected your comfort.
As for the bar and snack bar, these were indeed open during your stay. In the low season, opening hours are adjusted to visitor numbers; the bar is open to guests in the evenings from 6 pm to 9.30 pm, whilst the snack bar is open from 6 pm to 8.30 pm. They are closed on Wednesdays. In high season, opening hours are extended and they are open every day, the bar open daily from 8 am to 11.30 pm and the snack bar from 5.30 pm to 9 pm, to best meet the needs of our guests.
We also regret that certain services did not meet your expectations and take good note of your comments. Feedback from our guests remains important to us, enabling us to continue improving the experience we offer our holidaymakers.

Gostou Spacious pitch excellent facilities being able to walk to beach. Great for families, we were there in April so not too busy. Very helpful staff

Não gostou Pitch uneven and only 50% grass, looked unloved. Facilities (showers, toilets) look tired.
