Gostou We have stayed at some camp sites over the years in our twin wheel caravan and then in our motor home and this place is the best one ever stayed at all the staff we met were so helpful and friendly and the people staying there too we will be staying there again hopefully soon

Do gerente: We are not sure what is meant by limited opening as Poppies was open nightly during your stay. However, in high season the restaurant would be open for longer hours each evening. Perhaps they closed a little early for your needs on this visit? We have made Poppies aware of your comments and we hope that this will not deter you from visiting us again when you are next in the area.

Do gerente: We are very pleased to hear that you have liked the facilities on offer here. We hope you got some nights in the bar too as a cracking long weekend has been had by all. Regarding the wifi, it is beamed onto the park via an outside company which is why a charge is made by them for using the service. We are not currently in a position to make any changes to this arrangement and hope are glad this is the only dislike you have of our park. We hope to see you again in the near future.

Do gerente: Sorry about the shower, we were unaware it wasn't working correctly and it's now been looked at. Problem sorted so next time it'll all be okay.

Gostou Widdicombe is a lovely site, friendly staff and very helpful as well.
The facilities are clean and well looked after. The road didn't bother us at all.

Do gerente: Whilst we are the closest touring park to Torquay we are on the boundary so it is still a couple of miles to the beautiful beaches. It is a shame if you thought we were nearer as this may have spoilt your stay.

Do gerente: The bar opens at 7:30pm whether high or low season. We have found the majority of people do not come out earlier so have settled on a 7:30pm opening which we have found works well. We know there are sometimes a few that prefer early doors but it has never proved a viable option opening earlier for those rare occasions. It is of course great to know that overall you have enjoyed your stay and that you would be back.
